Dark or nice DR?

I’ve been reading through some posts on this subreddit, and I don’t seem to really recognize what I have.

Many people seem to describe their DR state as okay, for some even pleasant and safe.

Mine is as if I’m in a different world, looking exactly like the normal one but feeling entirely different. Everything feels dark and dangerous and whereas some people here say they’re coping reasonably well with DR, mine is torment and when it hits I can’t do anything, I’m just suffering.

I think I know the other thing, too - when your mind seems to go blank, and you don’t know how to talk to others because you hardly know where you are. Also very disconcerting, of course. But the thing that bothers me most is the dark feeling, like I’m living in a post apocalyptic landscape or something. I just can’t feel normal, can’t get back home even though I am there.

I hate it so much.

Anyone recognise this?

Garlic?

I wonder if this is coincidence?

Four times when I ate garlic I had bad RLS, starting not at night but 30-60 mins after eating it.

Anyone had that experience?

Anyone have The Eulogy about Geoffrey Tozer?

Hello people,

I recently came across Geoffrey Tozer (dead now, alas) and was surprised to see such a fine pianist being barely known by most classical music lovers.

Turns out he was quite underappreciated and in fact somewhat sabotaged, in his own country, Australia.

There’s a movie about him called The Eulogy that I’d very much like to see.

Trouble is, I’m Dutch and it cannot be streamed here nor bought in shops, whether online or physical.

So I’m wondering if anyone has it and would be prepared to sell or lend it to me, or does anyone know how I can somehow see it some other way on the internet?

Would be lovely if someone knew.

How do you guys prevent nausea and heartburn?

I’m new to fasting more than 3 days.
Very used to fasting a few days, or OMAD, etc.

I wanted to do a 7 day fast. But on day 4 I went from feeling fine to nausea and heartburn. Thought I’d sit it out, but when it was still there after a few hours the fast didn’t feel right, anymore.

If I ever try again, what measures should I take to avoid this?

NB I do take electrolytes.

Did you ever encounter a dead person?

Not in a dream, not as a sign (butterflies, finding coins, etc.) As in really seeing them, however ethereally, and possibly interacting with them.

I’m a sceptic in the original sense of the word: that means I don’t think “it’s all nonsense”. It means I just don’t know. I keep an open mind in *both* directions.

I’ve lost a lot of people, including a friend who swore he’d contact me after death. Didn’t happen.

I was wondering which truly mind blowing experiences you’ve had in encountering dead people. Something for which you just cannot find an explanation other than: that really was the dead person.
