It's okay though. This isn't the first, nor will it be the last, birthday I have spent with a migraine.

BESIDES, I'm still holding out hope that my stash of home remedies will save me from cruel agony. Sometimes I can prevent them from getting too gnarly.

🤞🏼Calling Walgreens soon to see what's up with my refill, I'll likely have to call my neurologist too but hopefully I can get it figured out.

I share migraine content on my other socials for multiple reasons, none of which are to gain sympathy.

I post for myself, because if I can remain lighthearted and use jokes as a way to cope with the pain, my mind doesn't go to dark places.

I post for others, because a lot of people don't understand what migraine disease is all about.

I post for other migraine sufferers, so that they may feel less alone and more understood. Additionally, (especially we who've been in this since the '90s) ...we can get stuck in our ways, unaware of the ever-changing scientific breakthroughs, information, and remedy options. I have learned stuff within the last few years that have been exceedingly validating.

And lastly, (and this is a new one), I post because...if I can't hold down a job or even organize myself well enough to sell my original artwork... Perhaps I can AT LEAST bring in a few bucks per month 🤷🏼‍♀️
