I have a GA36 clone, specifically the ga36-mb v1.1–20251025 model. These currently have no support for custom firmware. But I had read before that a custom DTB could technically be created for it, it just takes time.

I'd like to take a shot at that, but I'm not accustomed with coding DTBs (I'm a novice coder). Where would I start with this particular endeavor? I really don't mind taking my time learning and trial and error, I'd just like to know the best starting point.
