I got this from gshoper believed that is okay… still seems okay to me though….

I bought this of Amazon but the cable isn't the one that usually comes neither is the box

Just received this from alibaba store (few stores listed on wiki wasn't visible to me because of my browser or maybe extensions, but a guy said to try another browser instead of Firefox but I already placed the order but luckily I placed from the right and only alibaba store on wiki 🥹)

The question is what is this apple written here? I only saw one post regarding this same but nobody had idea there. Seems old since new is like aurkx something like that.

Using the info script it feels original 898mb ram, Panel 4.

I also booted without sdcard nothing flashing came except the green button Lit up. So means original again.

I can't open up to show the insides since don't have the tools, I am not at home.

I'll get samsung evo plus 64gb or SanDisk extreme 64gb for tf1 slot setup (whichever I find cheaper)

Also about the charger, I have xiaomi 67watt charger will that harm this? Since I heard 5v 2amp (10W) is the maximum you should have, I'll need to buy then. Also can I charge using my laptop in the meantime?

I backed up using USB image tool and manually copy pasting both partitions too.

I do have 1g1r rom files so I'll use those instead of the 21k+ games this comes with which I would never be able to play.

So am I the part of this family now?

Edit : I updated it using USB tethering to the latest version and now it's - ArkOS 2.0 (11072025)(AeUX) 👌 the apple was definitely old version.

The wife orders from Temu all the time and I added this to her latest order. A cheap 3d printed grip - and it is cheap. But it'll do the job and makes holding it comfortably far easier. Might can pull off special moves on street fighter, without feeling like it's gonna fly out my hands.

Hi all, I just got my R36 Ultra yesterday and it came with Emuelec. At first I would be happy to keep that as it looked nice. But after a bit of reading DarkOS being more optimised and better for tweaking cores ect, I decided to swap to that. If I had the default image it came with id probably stick with that, but I don't have it.

So after flashing the "dArkOSRE_R36_trixie_03082026.img" it started and did the reading portions and whatever else it does.

Then on the first boot I saw this screen. Split into four. I tried taking the original dtb file from my stock card (rk3326-evb-lp3-v12-linux.dtb) and replacing the DarkOS one (rk3326-r36s-linux.dtb). I named it exactly the same and renamed the Dark dtb with a .bak extension. Put it back in the R36 Ultra and saw a DarkOS boot screen (still in four with funky colours) and that's as far as it would get.

Does anybody know how to resolve this without opening the console as I may still return it if I can't get it working.

Any help to get this resolved is much appreciated 👍

I am open to different firmware suggestions also. I just don't know what available.

Forgot to mention I'm using a sandsik for my new card. It's worked in my other devices.

ciao a tutti, ho acquistato questa r36s (non so se sia un clone ma come primo approccio andrebbe anche bene) ho cambiato la sd con una nuova da 128g e ricopiato tutto seguendo i vari turorial.

il punto è che mi ritrovo sempre allo stesso punto: la console sembra non leggere i giochi, ho varie cartelle ma tutte vuote.

Card has been recently formatted and on panel select, only 5 works while the rest do weird colors or white square. The console ran previously with AmberElec and multiple firmwares
