2025 Big Bend Non Sas - 2.3l with 3.73 gearing | Help with figuring it all out
Just bought our first bronco got the 2025 cause it was better priced then a 2026. We are looking to upgrade our tires and rims but trying to figure out what is the best way to go about it.
We currently have stock 255/70r17
I would like to do...
- 35/12.5r17 BFG K03
- Fast HD Menace Satin Bronze with Black Trim 17x8 +15 6x135|6x139.7mm 106.1mm
- 2 inch spacer lift
I know with going bigger we will lose 10th gear and maybe 9th.
I know switching to sport mode will assist
I know if i get the ford tune it will asssist
I know if i get the better gearing it will assist
But im nervous about the 3.73 gearing.
Will i have problems?
Will i break something?
Will i wreak the engine or transmission?
We use this vehicle as my wifes daily driver. We do some hwy going any where from 50km to 800km round trips to the city or next town over. We put on roughly 20,000 km every 1.5 years.
I want it to look good and something can go down some trails with as well as ice fishing and maybe some light more aggressive trails
Is a better option to...
- Stick with a 285/70r17 with the BFG K03
- Fast HD Menace Satin Bronze with Black Trim 17x8 +15 6x135|6x139.7mm 106.1mm
- No Lift
