We have to pull carpet and clean and seal the subfloor in our double wide. Because of other repairs currently taking priority like electrical and plumbing, the money to replace the subfloor and lay down vinyl won't be in hand til late fall. On the double wide pages they say you can scrub the subfloor with tsp, seal with kilz and then paint with porch and floor paint to buy time. So that seems to be the direction we are leaning. Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated. Especially for the clear coat. Poly clear or something more commercial grade?

So I had an unfortunate closer than I thought I was incident with a gas station concrete pole. Scraped 3 lines down part of the drivers side slider and took the paint off part of the back end of the slider panel and the front of the adjacent body panel. Not a lot maybe an eight to quarter inch wide four inches high on both. Coated with clear coat sealant because money is a rough thing in this economy. Apparently the clear coat faded because when I went to clean it out there's rust. I called the body shop at the dealer and they can't get me in til mid June. Curious if anyone has had similar issues and what you paid for repaint or repair?
