It’s been less than a week since we drove the van. Husband turned it on and all this popped up. What’s going on??

Never wouldn't thought that I'd experience this.
Where do you go to order parts online?
Odessey 2024, 17k miles for 34000$ .
Can u get extended warranty on used odessey from honda( since it is not 3 year old or miles dnt exceed limit)?
Is this a good price?
Single owner,no accidents,no rental use.
Location..chicago
I know it is not van life rofl. But we just got an odyssey like a month ago and I'm hoping to sleep in it during camping trips. Seats out plus mattress
Or idk is there a special inflatable you recommend? Window screens?
Unfortunately i got rear ended in traffic, nothing serious, no injuries and barely any damage on my end but this. What causes the spikes exactly??😂 did wolverines passed and didnt saw him?
I can’t fit my new Honda odyssey in my garage. 😫 Any creative ideas for how to keep it out of the sun and elements?
If you are like me, I need to keep food cold during the day or in between errands. I found this 30 can cooler for sale at Walmart for $30 and it has wheels and a telescoping handle. It fits perfectly if you need something like this grab one.
I have a 2024 Touring (Canada). I slid the child lock into the locked position on both doors, but the sliding doors still open and close using both the door handle and the buttons by the air vents. What am I doing wrong?
What’s the difference between using my phone as a hotspot and the van WiFi?
We are looking at a 2022 honda odyssey elite this weekend. They are asking just under $31K, it has 96K miles, one owner history, and has been serviced regularly including the timing belt and water pump replacement recently done. Is this an average price or is it high for the mileage?
Prolly a silly question, but I don't see this feature noted in ANY listings... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #JUSTcurious
Thanks in advance! 👊
Hey y'all, hoping to get some insight on if this is a good purchase. Single owner, timing belt was replaced at 200k miles. They're asking $3900. The car has some interior cosmetic staining, but everything else looks like it has been maintained well, regular oil changes, water pump replaced around 110k and alternator at 150k. I don't see spark plugs having been replaced though.
Only thing that makes me nervous are the potential VCM issues, I know this trim has a VCM and the car has never been muzzled. Test drive went well, transmission and idle were both smooth, and I don't see the common VCM related repairs like repeated spark plug replacements or failing motor mounts.
Money is unfortunately the biggest concern for me right now, I'm not sure if I would be able to afford a major repair in the next year after this purchase, but I am definitely willing to baby the car, give lots of oil and check ups regularly if needed. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
I have a 2025 Elite that I quite like, but I'm living in Georgia and the summer heat means that my AC is running all the time and it's just too loud. (I've already got ceramic tints, got a tinted windshield, and keep a windshield sun shade handy to minimize my AC needs as much as possible, but still the fan motor noise...)
Are there areas I could install soundproofing to cut down on AC system noise? Has anyone done anything like this? Anyone have any pointers?
I have a dealership offering me 42,500 before TTL is this a good deal with the 2027 coming in??
I have 2015 and 2025 Odysseys. Recently (24k miles) the 2025 periodically smells like gas inside. Makes kids and I feel sick. A little better if I turn air recirculating off. Made appointment with dealership but the problem was brushed off - service advisor stated this is a known issue, but no recalls or fixes, though Honda in CA is supposedly “investigating “ the issue. Anyone else with this issue??? Seems dangerous not just annoying. In addition to the poor A/C compared to my 2015, this issue makes me disappointed in Honda.
UPDATE: report back from the dealership “ customer states fuel smell, states entire garage smelled. Please inspect and advise. Unable to verify customer concern. No fuel smell was present. Brought vehicle into the shop and lifted vehicle in the air. Inspected fuel EVAP system. No fuel leaks were found at this time. Vehicle passed EVAP system function test. Inspection only.”
So nothing. I feel better it’s not a fuel leak. They also sent me a video. Hopefully if more and more people report the same concern, there will eventually be a recall. Doing more online searching, I am concerned it’s related to the capless gas tank.
I appreciate everyone’s input, insight, and personal experiences!
Do we build castles in the sky…
Previous post: New Piston Ring Victim : r/HondaOdyssey
Had the vehicle inspected at the dealer to try and confirm the piston ring warranty coverage and I found out it was previously done in 2022 (58K miles - currently at 98K). The Honda dealer was griping that our regular mechanic cleared the codes (apparently, I should just not repair a critical engine issue) but said yeah if the fouled plugs are from CYL1-3 that the piston ring needs to be replaced and quoted me like $7400 - (hell no).
I pushed back saying why would I pay $7000 for this to just fail in another 40K miles. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to order the VCMTUNER before they sold out so it's at least a month before I can get my hands on one.
Sorry for the additional post but I'm really not an expert in this area.
We live in the south, heat index is 108 today, and don't like being hot. We are going to hate the AC in this van aren't we?
