Two years ago I purchased a 3-pack of the Deco XE75 Pro (one for each floor of my apt.). Each unit is connected to ethernet. I'm on Cox 1Gig service, using my own modem (Motorola MB8600). Every few weeks, one or more of the Deco units will display a solid red light. I had a lengthy call with TP-Link support a few months ago and they suggested various solutions (changing ethernet cables, using a different ethernet port on the Deco units, rebooting my modem, rebooting the Deco system, etc.).

I did everything they suggested and it keeps happening. It never seems to be all three of them at the same time, but all three have done it at one time or another. Now when I see the red light I unplug the device, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. So far, that has worked, but I feel like I'm missing something.

The product warranty just expired, so I'm on my own here. If I need to replace it I can, but I'd like to exhaust all possible remedies first. Does anyone have any suggestions for next steps?

Last week I received an email from Farmers Only, a dating website for rural people and their enthusiasts. The email was welcoming me to the site, which I did not join. Apparently someone had created a female account using my email address (I'm a man, I live in a city, I'm married, and I would never join Farmers Only -- no offense).

I did not click anything in the email, but I went to the website and went through the "Forgot Password" procedure. Sure enough, I got an email from them with instructions on how to update my password. I did that and requested that "my" profile be deleted.

My question is, why would someone create an account using my email address? And I guess a follow up question for Farmers Only is, why they would have created a profile without confirming the email address first? Is this a common scam?
