That’s it. That’s the whole story.

I saw a sea of gate lice and just didn’t see a path forward, and then my Apple Watch buzzed and I got a high heart rate alert—this happened even after just standing there motionless for 10+ minutes.

That’s never happened before. I didn’t even know I had such alerts turned on.

I’m group one, and it’s a larger plane than I am used to. I know my carry on will be fine.

Why am I so worked up? Am I alone in this involuntary fight or flight response to chaotic boarding situations?
