Is it worth the money purchasing E85 on a flex fuel vehicle. I have a Ford escape that gets 28 mpg highway on unleaded gas. Saw E85 at $2.79 today normal unleaded was $4.05. Does anyone have any real experience on how the mpg changes or the driving experience. Most of the time E85 is only about $.50 cheaper so it wasn't worth the money for me to ever test it out. But at a savings of $1.26 a gallon it's tempting to try it out.
