I built a TV remote app because I got frustrated with how unreliable most existing ones are.
I kept dealing with remotes getting lost, apps taking forever to connect, random disconnects, or interfaces overloaded with ads and unnecessary features.
So I started building a simple remote app for myself with one goal:
make it fast, reliable, and clean to use every day.
The app is called Wifi Remote for Android TV and it lets you control Android TV and Google TV devices directly from your iPhone over Wi-Fi.
Current features include:
- touchpad navigation
- keyboard typing
- quick pairing
- responsive controls
- clean minimal interface
It’s still evolving, but honestly already feels much better than most TV remote apps I’ve tried.
