I tried out that Wizardry x FFXI Crossover and wanted to share here in case anybody else was curious about it. The event in Wizardry is really well done with a full Castle Zvhal to explore, NMs to hunt, Relics to grind. . . it feels like a complete XI experience within a different game. I plan to do a follow up on the actual story after the crossover event concludes on Sept. 10. The XI specific content starts at 6:20. love XI!!

Ambuscade is a great place for new players to get their first pieces of both intermediate and endgame gear. We talk through the what, why, and how of Ambuscade, we go over how to prioritize your rewards, we talk about the Ambuscade Capes and build out the standard TP and WS capes, and then we go over the very basics of Gear Swapping so you can start putting all this gear to good use. Upgrading Empyrean is vital but farming Abyssea to upgrade the base gear to +1 is obnoxious. But right now you can farm I-Seals to skip this step! Make sure to load up before June 9th!
