Like, it’s good but not great but I don’t know if I like it or hate it and I might be starting an addiction. I’ve only had canned so far. It goes down so easy and the bubbles to sweet ratio is just right.
We are ecstatic! We were expecting another week or so with having a request for documents. Now we are planning my move! I woke up this morning, prayed before opening my email, and I opened my eyes and there it was! Such a relief, anyone who is still waiting, you will have your moment!! ☺️

My heart jumped thinking it was the approval the way the subject line was written, but it was requesting additional documents. Last email I got was June 11th for the reminder email so I was excited getting this. I knew they were going to ask but I was thorough and sent everything they needed at 8AM UK time so hopefully we hear sometime today or tomorrow!
We are applying by way of category B and they needed my husband’s UK pay slips and bank statements, my 6 months of bank statements showing savings (we sold our house back in April, owned for 5 years, using the funds to offset his income and thought it best to keep it in my account) and we initially submitted his 12 months of previous work history at my biometrics. I’m so happy they didn’t request that again! I also resubmitted our house documents from when we bought it and sold it just in case.
My application was submitted on April 12 and my bio was April 22 (standard, USA) been waiting patiently. This morning I opened my email and saw it sitting there, opened it and was disappointed that it was not my approval email. I’ve already done my bio, is this just a regular generic email? Anyone get it while they’ve been waiting on their approval email?
I got this email, finally, but the link doesnt seem to take me where I need to go to upload additional documents? I already had my biometrics on 4/22. I don’t see an option 3 or 4. I tried using the link thru my application on the UK.gov site to take me to the vfs global site to log in with my reference number and email but it says “Reference Number or Email doesn't match our record”. We are using category B- previous 12 months of work in the US ( my husband who is British citizen), his current new job in the UK with job offer letter, and cash savings using the funds from the sale of our house on April 7 2026 which is exempt from waiting 6 months holding the money in your account. I initially provided a document that I got the day of and was stamped from my bank on the day of my appointment showing the amount that was in my bank account after the sale of our home on April 7, however, I feel it was not thorough enough to support my application as it did not show the deposited amount on said date even though the banker noted it was sufficient with just my current balance, I also included the deed, the wire transfer, and closing docs as well as the sale docs when we bought our home to support my application (and the 12 months of pay stubs for my husband). I now have my bank statement for April that hadn’t posted before my bio, my husband’s first payslip he just received and his bank statement with the deposit and an updated explanation letter for the additional documents that I wanted to upload. Will I get an email from the person that is working my visa entrance at a later time? We thought this email meant if you forgot any documents or needed to upload more this was your chance to do it.
