Security incident this morning
This morning around 6:30ish am I’d say while standing in the line for security a man ran behind the British Airways luggage drop off/ticketing desk (there’s probably a simpler way of describing this but I’m exhausted) and literally threw himself through the opening where the bags go through down the conveyor belt. 2 of the desk agents ran after him but it was too late and he was already gone. about 20 of us saw it and an older gentleman behind us alerted several TSA officers and was pretty panicked. I am surprised that I didn’t hear more about this or that flights weren’t put on a ground stop or something. At this point it’s just curiosity- what would happen in this instance, or would that man be injured? I have no idea what the inside of that area or mechanics looks like.
