Non-EU applicant, admitted to MSc Physics at LMU for WS2026/27

.

The International Office rejected my application in July for exactly one reason: the faculty's aptitude decision (Master-Genehmigung) was missing. The faculty has since ruled geeignet, and I'm posting that document now, well before the 21 August Nachreichung deadline. The rejection letter says that once the file is complete I'll receive a Zulassungsbescheid umgehend.

My bachelor's diploma was only issued on 10 August and still needs certified copies. The faculty's letter says enrolment isn't possible without it , but also that enrolment can proceed unter dem Vorbehalt that the degree is later proven.

So: does the International Office issue the Zulassungsbescheid as soon as the aptitude decision lands, or do they hold it until the diploma is in as well?

It matters a lot. I need the Zulassungsbescheid for the national visa, and the appointment queue at the German embassy here is 4–6 weeks , so a few weeks either way decides whether I start in October or wait for the summer semester.

Has anyone had LMU admit them before submitting the degree certificate?

LMU International Office ,does a Nachreichung have to arrive by post, and does the bachelor's degree certificate count in the same deadline?

Does TUM's "best 130 credits" rule still apply after graduation when submitting a final degree certificate?

Does TUM's best 130 credits rule for GPA calculation still apply after graduation, or do they just use the official GPA on the final degree certificate?
