To answer questions from 'which uni do I apply to' to 'i just landed, now what!?' - a discord for France students

This isn't just another group or server to gather students who are studying or going to study in France. It aims to be a resource hub, a community, and much more

Whether you're still figuring out if France is even the right move, deep in the Campus France process, waiting on your visa, or already there and trying to make sense of it all or just overwhelmed with studying/living abroad -> this server is for you.

France Student Network is a community for international students at every stage of the journey. Not just a place to ask questions and disappear, but somewhere to actually find people going through the same thing at the same time as you.

what's inside:

  • channels for Campus France, visas, scholarships, university queries, accommodation and more

  • a curated resource hub so you're not digging through outdated Reddit threads or mountains of texts in a Whatsapp group

  • practical life stuff -> banking, CAF, health insurance, student discounts, useful apps

  • a space to find people going to your city or university before you even arrive

  • a looking-for forum to find flatmates, study buddies, secondhand items, language exchange partners, etc.

  • French language and culture channels for every level

  • and just... people to talk to when the process or living abroad gets overwhelming

it's in early days and the community is still growing, but the structure is there and so are the resources. The more people that join the more useful it becomes for everyone

Discord server for students!

Hellow everyone!

I made a discord server for all students studying or planning to study in France (even alumnis are welcome!)

Yeah, I know, we already have several Whatsapp groups for it.. But i just find it difficult to keep track of all the info on those. Not to mention that new members keep asking the same info because they cant see the chat history

The aim is to have every info and topics organised and easily accessible to any new or existing member via specific channels and resource hub forum posts.

I've also made forum channels for people to find anyone else that's going to the same university/city as them and forum channel for anyone looking for flatmate, secondhand items, etc.

Disclaimer: This is an independent server and isnt affliated with any offical websites or organisations

Here's the permanent server link for anyone wanting to join:

https://discord.gg/pYEhF54Edm

(Hopefully none of this violates any of the subreddit rules/guidelines)
