Included a pic of the fur I brushed out today. It was the most I’ve ever brushed out of her in one go.

When do you write a thank-you for a shower gift if the giver can’t make the shower?
My baby shower isn’t until another month. I have a relative out of town who already bought and sent a gift from the registry. It arrived last week. Do I send a thank-you now? Same question if others also send gifts to our house without attending the shower. Seems like I should, but what is tradition or the expectation?

Thanks to u/1pja666 I gave gf puff pastry another try. Saw Sweet Loren’s on sale at my store today and grabbed some apple pie filling. No recipe. Just found a regular danish recipe for the cream cheese filling, slopped some down and topped with apple pie filling. Brushed edges with the unused egg white mixed with a splash of milk.
I would not for homemade pie filling usually but I couldn’t be bothered today lol
