Has anyone experienced this where like an entire wave spawns in after the intensive test has finished?
This has happened every time for my duo so far, but after looking around other people dont seem to have this happen?
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows if waves get qued up and if there is a potential fix.
About 2 years ago I had gotten this cactus from a Home Depot, it used to be much bigger but a good section of it had rot so I tried my luck in cutting it and hoping it would grow roots. I used rooting hormone (hence the white).

Although its been in a pot thats MUCH to big for it since I had gotten a pot before I knew it needed to be cut. So today I decided to downsize the pot to be more appropriate (theres pictures comparing the old pot to the new one). My mom had raised concern for the spot I had cut.

So this leads to my question, is the darkness rot or the start of corking? Unfortunately I have poor timing so everything is wet because I just watered my cacti yesterday. So it's hard to tell, even looking at it in person. I used a little metal dental tool and gently tapped on the green versus this coloration and it had the same resistance and didn't mush or seem soft so I am hopeful its simply corking.

Though I want other options of course, hence making this.
