So I talked to SGI and police about e-bikes so I got a surron and locked it at 25km with the factory wire and told them that and that it has horn/front lights and rear lights but has pegs instead of peddles and SGI said that’s fine cause it can’t Be insured if runs under speed limit and police said it’s okay only thing that would catch someone’s eye is the style and no peddles but said if your not being a jackass and riding crazy you should be fine to do your thing even gave me his name just in case I get pulled over and talked to about it and don’t forgot your helmet…

Figured I’d send a post here about it cause know a few people who wonder the same thing

So I just got a surron 2 days ago kinda avoided the laws about in town driving just wondering are the cops pretty bad with them I’ve heard some people say that they have never been bothered as long as your not being a nuisance on them?
