I renewed my registration and got a new SC license plate?

I’ve renewed my registration for years on this vehicle… are they replacing license plates? Always just got a new registration card & kept the same plate. What up?

Does anybody have agencies that they could share that they have rented furnished apartments from in Paris for longer stays ? Would rather rent from a local agency than deal with Airbnb. Not looking for luxury rentals … just a nice livable one bedroom on the left bank! Merci!
