New revert advice
Assalamu alakym ladies 🌸
I am 21 year old living in Australia and have recently reverted to Islam.
I am trying my best will learn all as best as I can inshallah.
However I just had a question!
I was raised in a white, religion hating household and have moved out for uni, but still rely on my parents for support. I fear they may cease helping me if I tell them of my newfound faith.
This unfortunately means I do not wear a hijab in public, with the exception of prayer, dua, Quran reading etc.
I would absolutely love to wear it however they would hate it
Is this a genuine enough reason for me to continue hiding my faith?
