Finally got around to restoring the old pistol found 2 months ago

With the help of a friend who is far better at restoration, we managed to restore what appears to be a 19th century pistol. This is by far the oldest treasure we have discovered magnet fishing. Im so happy with the results!

6in steel item with bulbous head and threaded stem found magnet fishing

It feels very solid and weighs about 5 lbs. AI search says it may be an industrial fitting

I was rushing to get ready for work and looked over to see GL lounging by the pool. 🤣

This is scoot scoot. My 2nd most laid back chicken.

Here, we can observe the hen calmly watching her owner prepare dinner (dont tell her it's chicken strips)

Here's the clip of my buddy catching an old revolver.

Here's the clip of my buddy catching an old revolver. We've caught 3 guns at this place in the past, yet we find something "new" every time we fish here. We are thinking the heavy rains are moving things around in the Trinity River.

Irving, Texas.
