I see questions pop up every 20 minutes that was literally asked and answered 20 mins ago. People are coming up with the most insane hypotheses and little bits of wisdom. Some people have just been outright weird.

Sharing a comment I posted on another post regarding the PC Gamer preview and the hit piece on James Bond that author followed it with. I will be avoiding anything PC Gamer publishes about the game moving forward, and I’d suggest anyone else looking for an objective and transparent review of the game do the same.
I realize there are scores of Hitman fans out there who are itching to delve into Agent 47's next outing, and given this game is being developed by IO Interactive, naturally are inclined to gravitate to this game to satisfy that itch until the next Hitman game is developed and released.
A word of warning though: Please do not expect the Hitman gameplay loop or Hitman mechanics; you will set yourselves up for disappointment. I've already seen plenty of online discourse centered around how First Light is too much of a deviation from Hitman.
"You can't drag bodies? That sucks, hope the devs can patch that in."
"There's no map in the lower left corner, what's up with that?"
"Really just want to be able to get in a sandbox and wander around and just do random shit, you know, like you can in Hitman."
Even some of the previews I've read today dinged the game points because it wasn't Hitman enough.
People, please stop. THIS GAME IS NOT HITMAN. It's 007 First Light, inspired by a completely different legacy -- one that's been around for almost 70 years. And although both games will undoubtedly share the same DNA (they are made by the same people, after all), they will be distinct from one another. As it SHOULD be.
The Hitman games are all right there and ready to play if want you want to play is Hitman. First Light will become its own thing and, I'm hoping, spawn a whole new set of games separate from the Hitman franchise. Please do not ding the game points on Metacritic because this game isn't what you expected when what you expected was more Hitman.
