I really love the color in real life! The tulle is a little uneven, especially in the back, but overall the dress is good quality for the price paid. The boots were easy to get on and off and I love glitter anything so I'm going to be using them with a lot of other clothes.

I'm curious how this will be photographed for stock photos for the American Girl website and ultimately if anything will change, but I'm pretty pleased with my order and have more stuff on the way... 😜😅

I knew from obsessing over everyone else's CYO posts that the dolls always look wayyyyyy better than the site's awful generated pics, but I was still so nervous about opening my box!

Well, I love her! The freckles are JUST right (I love the fine pattern, I had yet to see that on a doll in real life until now) and this is my first doll with the Sonali face mold and it is just utterly charming and wholesome!

I wasn't really a big fan of any of the outfit choices for one reason or another but ultimately the pink jacket is a lot cuter in real life than in the stock photos. I had purchased an AGOT tee and Courtney leggings to act as her "Meet" outfit anyway, because I purposely wanted something that would make her blue and green eyes stand out a bit more.

And, fortunately she came on the same day as all the new Hill House dresses I ordered (on Tuesday - yay for living right next to a distribution warehouse!) so I can't wait to try those on as well!

I picked the accessories solely because of the Gameboy Advance (clone) game system...she's going to be a 90s gamer just like me ❤️

(Hush, I know GBA came out in 2001 🫣.)
