Hoka Bondi 9 / SR - breaking within 1-6 months!! Any one have recommendations of different shoes??
A couple years ago my podiatrist recommended to buy Hoka Bondi shoes. They genuinely felt like walking on clouds however $250-$299 for a pair, and the stitching comes out within 1-6 months. Anyone else experienced this???
1st Purchase: Hoka Bondi 9 Black ($289 in August 2025): lasted 5-6months.
Hole was top right shoe & stitching down the side came undone too.
2nd Purchase: Hoka Bondi 9 Tan/Green ($240 in November 2025): Lasted 2-3 months. Hole in top Left part of shoe this time. (Right shoe was fine).
3rd purchase: Hoka Bondi SR (leather look all around) - $299 in May 2026.
1 FREAKING MONTH!!! I already have a hole in the top right part of the shoe… stitching loose again. WTF!!!!
I average 10k steps per day…. Nothing excessive. Wear them to work, and a couple 30 min dog walks per day … again, nothing too excessive.
Any recommendations on another shoe good for walking & everyday use?
I’m pissed with this shitty expensive brand!!! Waste of money!!! In under 1 year - no Hoka shoes lasted.
