On a bunch of occasions, I made bases right up against a rock wall/outcrop.
I've noticed that one large storage box was consistently decaying and the only factor seemed to be it might have been touching the exposed rock at the rear (box was resting on a constructed floor that clipped-into the rockface)
Known issue?
As per the title, in the Hagga Basin, the game will incessantly tell you you've "discovered" somewhere that you've already been to.
Is this simply a mechanism to tell you the loot has reset in that location, or is it Coriolis-storm based.
Trying to figure out the devs. motivation in this notification system and what benefit it has to the player.
We run a private server with a couple of players <Lv. 30 and a few around 80. If we do a Testing Station in Eastern Shield Wall together, do the major loot drops change significantly with the individual player's level?
It seems that we generally get the same grade of stuff, regardless of level.
Looking to rebut the: "You get better stuff" complaints...
On our private server (only four local players), I had my Scout Ornithopter parked in a "hangar" ("Secure in Base" status) and I guess one of the generators didn't have the correct amount of fuel and after a few days, the shields dropped and it apparently got killed in storm(s)...
"Sheltered" (no local shield) bikes can last for weeks, but are ornithopters particularly vulnerable to just "sheltered" status?
As a default, I typically put generators on a rooftop, but are they vulnerable to sandstorms, etc? (seems to be...)
Not too clear on how many profiles this game supports (if at all!)
We currently have a private server and will shift to self-hosted when that becomes available, but is it possible to join a public server and create a new character from scratch to mess around with and maintain your existing profile on the private server?
Obviously, if you "move" a profile, all buildings and resources you're not carrying would be left behind in any case, but what are the other possibilities?
As pre the title: do ornithopters need to be in a "hangar" to protect them when stored at your base, or is a rooftop good enough "protection" from storms, etc?
Also, can you "taxi" with them?
As per the title, do the: "Core Survival" stats (Hydration, Health, Stamina, Energy) change as you level-up your character?
Are there ways to buff these specific criteria?
Didn't even notice this UI option until somebody recently pointed it out!
Addition: Does anyone know the Lv. 0 values for these stats?
