Seems like with an expansion pack this game could go from really good, to one of the best racing games made.
Making expansions generally is much easier than the initial release because the engine and working with editor etc kinks are worked out for the devs, and they can focus on gameplay critiques, people had with the original.
Like extending the campaign, split screen and multiplayer, community map building, more player customisation systems, expanding pod racing and the maps to rival episode 1 racer variety, more crash effects.
Really hoping it's financially successful enough for this to happen.
