Massive FPS Drops When Recording Recently
So I haven't had an issue recording with the settings I have for at least a few years now but lately I have noticed that there is significant FPS drops when recording vs when I'm not. If it were only like 5 I wouldn't really care but it is large amounts of anywhere from 20-40 fps drop. For a few examples with Battlefield 6 I normally sit at around 100-110 FPS but when recording that drops down to about 70-75, Destiny 2 its from 144 down to 80-90, even games like Phasmophobia I've had from 120 down to 70-80 when attempting to record. I know its not the end all be all scenario but it is very noticeable both ingame and on the recordings themselves and when lots of things appear on the screen/happen it'll drop below 60 or even 50 where if I am not recording it'd drop only like 10 fps. I'm aware of how most things work when it comes to OBS settings so I figured I would ask here to see if there is something I am overlooking or not taking into consideration given I have not touched my settings for at least a few years. Nothing I have searched up online seems to help like at all and knowing how this site is there is bound to be some people who know a hell of a lot more than I do. Much appreciated in advance.
