i downloaded the audio effects from nvidia broadcast resources, ran the exe and the filters showed up in obs but its not loading. i cant apply those. am i doing something wrong?

any help is appreciated!

i found a github issue from aug noting this problem but that was beta

as the title says, what application and program can I use to use my cell phone as a webcam, I tried ivcam, irium webcam but they were very diley, what program and application do you recommend to use my cell phone as a webcam in my streams

Also if you can, recommend an add-on that allows me to use my cell phone as a webcam in OBS

I have an intricate OBS show setup that relies on numerous plugins and auxiliary software.

When I see OBS saying "devs will need to update etc etc ..." it's not a good feeling.

Yes, I can stay back on previous versions, or I can just get on with what will eventually be required by certain bits of OBS-related software.

Also, there will be 2 classes of OBS plugins, official, and unofficial. Each needs to be in the appropriate folder.

Forgive me for worrying, but I have a bad feeling about it.

I'm planning a marathon of the entire Kingdom Hearts series and want to create a special OBS overlay.

I had the idea of ​​having chat messages appear like the speech bubbles found in the early games.

However, that's as far as my idea goes, since I have absolutely no clue how to actually pull it off.

I assume it involves using CSS on the chat's web source, but I have no idea how to go about it.

If anyone knows how or could help me out, that would be amazing.

Ive been using OBS to stream on twitch ever since i got tired of streamlabs crashing and not being able to stream on yt and twitch at the same time, but recently its been using up all of my cpu. At first I thought it was the fact I was streaming to two platforms at the same time, but when I started only doing twitch, nothing changed. I even tried the method where you make it run on your GPU instead of CPU, and all it did was make it devour my GPU as well. Every time I search it up, I get answers to things I cant change because theyre already on that setting. Are there any ways to make this work better?

edit: here are my output settings bc im stupid and forgot to post that ish
streaming settings:
audio encoder - FFmpeg AAC
video encoder - x264 (no other options for some reason so thats not changeable)
rescale output - disabled (1920x1080)

encoder settings:
rate control - CBR
bitrate - 6000kbps
keyframe interval - 0s
cpu usage preset - veryfast

everything else is at the default for output settings

Hello, so I recently discovered I can use the voice suppressor can help with a background noise issue I have been experiencing so I applied it to my mic and when I do a test video, only the gameplay audio is playing. It's not like I am not talking loud enough since I can see int he audio mixer my voice is causing my mic to make the bar rise. Like you can't even hear a whisper or any fragments of my voice in it.

I'm only trying to record, not stream. My image is very dull, grey even. I have an HDR screen and I know it's probably the problem so I try turning HDR off but without success. Putting color to complete makes no difference. If I put colors to Rec 2100(PQ) and format to P010, it looks completely fine on the OBS screen, but still washed out in the recording. I heard about a "force SDR" settings in the scene properties, but it's not there for me.

I'm a bit lost here. Any help guys ?

I've been at it for a week tweaking my settings but nothing seems to be up to my preference. I'm using a macbook neo to record through obs, while using a genki shadowcast pro 3 connected to my ps5 to record my gameplay. I use an Apple VT HEVC Hardeware Encoder and flip flop between using CBR (15,000 kbps) and CRF (70) because I'm not sure which one I should be using. The games I intend on recording are 2D games like In Stars and Time, Cuphead, and Deltarune (also Minecraft Dungeons 2 but I'm not sure if that needs different settings or not compared to the rest). Overall I need a balanced setting that can handle these so I dont ever have to touch the settings ever again.

Hi, I’ve been trying for 4 hours to connect my tiktok to OBS for the first time. I’ve done a lot of first steps and research- YouTube/ back and forth with GPT but I’m stuck after entering my stream key etc- it didn’t work.

I just wondered if anyone out there wouldn’t mind helping me via Google voice or something. _ just trying to troubleshoot?
It would be a karmic win for you if you knew the kind of year I’d been having- and maybe I can cheer you on too, with whatever endeavor you’re working on!

I just hope to set up streaming, add a “sticker” to show what the stream is about, and create a countdown clock for co working.

But when I try to go live it shows connected but now visual before I press the go live.

Hi all, I'm having issues with in game fps when I don't run OBS in the background. I know this sounds weird but I can't really comprehend what's going on. When OBS isn't running, I'm having 60 fps in game (world of warcraft) but when I launch OBS my in game fps skyrockets to 150+. I'm on a macbook with m1 max chip. Is there any specific reason that might cause this?
