Has anyone opened FCNR(B) accounts in Indian public sector banks like Indian Bank, Union Bank of India etc. They are giving competitive rates compared to the banks or credit unions in the US. Please share your experiences working with public sector banks for maintaining FCNR accounts..

Are there any issues with repatriation, transfer fees or immigration docs (H1B) while working with those banks or is the process hassel free ?
