This is holy grail of credit cards

ICICI, in partnership with The Times of India, is launching this ₹1.75 lakh + GST credit card.

Joining fee is ₹1.75 lakh + GST.

Would you actually get this card? And more importantly… what benefits would justify that insane fee?

HDFC keeps offering BizGrow CC, but I want Millennia LTF. What should I do?

I have an HDFC SavingMAX savings account and maintain ₹4 lakh+ with HDFC (savings balance + FD).

Despite this, HDFC keeps giving me a pre-approved BizGrow credit card offer, but I don't need that card. I specifically want the HDFC Millennia Credit Card as LTF.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any way to improve my chances of getting a Millennia LTF offer, or should I contact my RM/branch and request it?

Any suggestions or recent experience with HDFC would be helpful.

Can I close my physical SBI debit card after generating a virtual debit card, given that I possess two other lifetime-free debit cards from different banks, simply to avoid the annual maintenance charges?

Also is there any impact like problems in netbanking or upi activation.

Amazon Pay ICICI Application: Got a "Tentative Limit" document but status shows Under Review. Normal?

Hey everyone,

I applied for the Amazon Pay ICICI credit card on Monday, August 17th. Right after completing the process, my tracking screen showed "Step 4 of 4:

Application Under Review."

However, I noticed that my generated credit card application form lists an Application Number and shows a "Tentative Credit Limit" of ₹1,40,000 (subject to credit manager's approval).

For those who have this card, does getting a specific tentative limit on the form mean it's practically approved? How long does it usually take to get the final approval

SMS from this stage? Thanks!

I think SBI will never give me credit card now.

I have 6 credit cards with total limit of 10L. I closed my old SBI card because of low limit of 32000. My salary credit is in SBI. But, they are not considering anything except “OVERLEVERAGED” .

Is there any work way around ? They also don’t give on C2C basis.

Or it’s time to move salary into HDFC.

Please help me optimise my card stack. Keep / Remove / Replace?

This is my current card stack. I am considering consolidation or replacing. Been confused about how to optimise. Axis Horizon? HSBC Travel One? Regalia Gold? HDFC has not been giving me Regalia Gold due to salary criteria even though I have an Imperia account through family banking. I don't want any card for lounge access as I have an add-on card that does the job for me as far as airport lounge is concerned.

What triggered this rethinking of my card stack is the realisation that I have booked 15 flights this year and I plan to keep travelling more over the coming years. Some were higher than usual rates and having points / air miles would have helped in these situations in my opinion. Should I consider a travel card? And what should I close?

I have been getting an average of 4-5% return in cashback every month as of now. A lot of the spends on my cards end up being group spends that then get split amongst my friends and I.

Below are some details for context:

Current Cibil: 775

Age: 24

Monthly Income and Employment status: Salary ~1.4L

Monthly Expenses & Spending Patterns:

  • Food, Grocery, Dining Out: ~40-50k (I pay for friends, which we then split)
  • Furniture Rental: Furlenco and Rentomojo
  • Commute: Rapido, Uber
  • Travel:
    • 2 Trains every month
    • 15 Flights this year: 12 domestic and 2 international
    • Mostly Airbnbs, no hotels
  • Concerts and shows: Bookmyshow, District, Skillboxes
  • Shopping: Mostly Amazon, Myntra or D2C websites

Top 5 Monthly spend categories and Top 5 Annual spend categories: mentioned above

Preferences for Credit Card Features: No hotel redemptions required as such. Focus is flights if possible.

Reward Preference (Cashback or Reward Points): I have been getting cashback for the past 2 years. Want to get the best return possible, plus I think airmiles / points help with booking flights when rates are very high.

Lounge Access Required: No

Other Special Needs: NA

Help me maximize Axis Horizon Visa spends for a Family Trip

Hi all, I'm planning a 5 day trip with my family of 5 around October to:

Varanasi (80 Ghats, Kashi Vishwanath)
Ayodhya (Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi)
Lucknow (Imambada)
Agra (Taj Mahal, Forts)

I'm expecting to spend around Rs.1.5–2L on the trip overall.

I'm a noob when it comes to credit cards/travel rewards. I currently have a couple of cashback cards (Amazon ICICI and Axis Neo) and I'm looking to get started with travel cards.

I have a pre-approved Axis Horizon Visa offer showing up on my Axis account with a 3000 joining fee + 3000 annual fee, and I'm thinking of getting it mainly because of this upcoming trip.

I wanted to ask people here how I can maximize the miles I earn from this trip, including how to make the most of the welcome benefits and eventually redeem the miles.

Some things I'm particularly confused about:

  • Is the Horizon worth taking at this fee given the devaluations. Should I aim for a diffrerent card altogether
  • Should I book hotels/flights through Travel EDGE for the 5x earnings
  • How should I split the spending between my existing cashback cards and Horizon
  • Can I redeem anything on this trip or should i just focus on earning miles right now
  • Are there any transfer partners that are particularly useful for a trip like this
  • Anything else I should be doing to maximize the value from this card?

I'm pretty new to this whole travel card/miles thing, so any advice on how you'd approach this would be really helpful. Happy to answer any questions.

Also, I'm yet to finalize on hotels, so anyone familiar with the places please do help me with the recos :)

Cheers!

BOB Cashback CC - Help me understand that this Gpay linked payment thing

Context: I have SBI Cashback CC already, for BOB Cashback CC I'm not eligible (age<25), hence, trying to get one for my father especially because of the Gpay linked payment.

The 4 payment criteria seems to be just a void, if it gets linked to Gpay and be used as UPI.

  1. But is that really this simple or am I missing something?
  2. The 4 transactions also bear the cashback right?
  3. The Gpay scan n pay payments are in 5% category ? (though it's offline but the payment is made online i.e. not through the POS machine) :-}
  4. Any criteria for waiving off the annual 499 charge? (I know its meagre but still)
  5. any other Card recommendations please.

Which HDFC card should get first - Millennia or Diners Club Privilege?

Hello everyone!

I’m looking to add an HDFC credit card and I’m eligible to get both HDFC Millennia and HDFC Diners Club Privilege as LTF through my company tie-up. I’m confused about which one I should get first.

A little about me:

\- Age: 22

\- CIBIL: 782

\- Monthly salary: ₹1 lakh

\- Current credit cards: Axis, SBI and IndusInd

\- Spending pattern: Mostly shopping

\- Reward preference: Open to cashback or reward points(which gives max return)

\- Lounge access: Not a major requirement

Since both HDFC cards are LTF for me, which one would make more sense considering my existing cards and spending pattern?

Would appreciate recommendations from people who have used these cards. Thanks!

Paytm offer query

I normally recharge my Jio number with the ₹899 plan once every 3 months.

Paytm is currently offering 15% off (up to ₹150) on Visa Platinum Debit Cards, and I have one. It seems I can use this offer once every month.

So, should I recharge ₹899 every month and keep the extra Jio recharges in the queue?

Would this be a good idea, or is there any downside to stocking up on Jio recharges?

Axis mid-range : Select (LTF) vs Privileged Amex?

As select has been undervalued: i wanted amex privilege.. but wont be spending 5L annual fee wavier.

Like, Select card is LTF for Burgundy uses without any waiver term. There is no card which I can take as a Priority Customer. The bank is pushing me to take Privileged Amex, but honestly, I don’t think I can afford ₹ 5L to waive the ₹ 1500 + GST off!

Currently, I’m a Priority Customer eligible for free upgradation to Burgundy. All credit goes to my parents; they have been Axis customers for 15 years and have added me to their family banking.

Age: 25 & Credit History of 3 years.

Coming to my spends: Hardcore HSBC RuPay cashback around 35-40k.

I took HSBC Live+ & HDFC Millennia very recently (for both of them, too, I’m worried that I won’t meet the cap to waive the annual fees off!).

I want to leverage my Axis Bank situation & get a mid-tier card & then, in the future, eventually get an upgrade to Magnus Burgundy.

Looking for advice! Thank you.

Any genuine ways to enhance HDFC CC limit in 2026 ?

I tried every possible way to enhance CC limit or upgrade on my HDFC card. But always rejected. Does HDFC has any beef with me ? Currently, I am at base card of freedom Rupay with 50K limit (lowest among all). Recently, I got mail to send documents via courier to Chennai office. I don’t now it sounded like delay mechanism.

I have savings account with them and HDFC is my main expenditure bank. I have few FDs with them too. Their RM keeps calling me for pre approved 15L car loan but can’t help in enhancement of CC limit.

How people are getting auto approved offer to enhance limit or card ?

  1. Should I spend more or do 0 transaction?
  2. Should I send documents to Chennai office ?
  3. Should I switch salary account to HDFC ?

I am Salaried with CIBIL - 755
I hold ICICI Sapphire ( 3L), ICICI Amazon pay (1L), Onecard (1.5L), Axis (1L), IDFC Millennia ( 1L).

IndusInd Pinnacle Pre-Approved Offer – Not Eligible?

I received a WhatsApp message from IndusInd Bank for a pre-approved Pinnacle Credit Card offer. But when I clicked the official link, it showed “Not Eligible” and said I need ₹1.5 lakh available credit limit.

If I’m not eligible, why was I sent a pre-approved offer?

Has anyone faced the same issue? Should I raise a complaint with IndusInd Bank?
