I was recently allocated to an ITIS project in TCS as a Prime Candidate and was informed that it's a support role.

What surprised me is that I was allocated without any prior email, discussion, or call regarding the role or project. I was hoping for a development-oriented project, so I'm feeling a bit disappointed.

- What kind of work can I expect in ITIS support?

- Is there good learning and career growth?

- Is it possible to get released from the project or request a different allocation at this stage?

- Has anyone successfully moved from ITIS support to a development role?

I’m joining TCS Prime soon and wanted to know the typical ILP duration for Prime candidates in Hyderabad/other locations.

Is it usually:

• 1 month?
• 2 months?
• more?

Also:

• how difficult are the assessments?
• are Prime batches tougher than Ninja?
• when do people usually get allocated to projects?
• does ILP duration depend on technology stack/project demand?

Would be helpful if recent joiners could share their experience.

My mother currently has:

• SBI General Sampoorna Arogya – Group
• ₹5L SI
• Continuous coverage since june 2022 (~ 4 years)
• SBI has issued continuity endorsement confirming no break in coverage.

I am trying to port to Care Supreme ₹10L.

Initially one Care agent told me only the latest year would be considered for continuity because current policy inception date shows 2025 after internal migration.

After multiple emails and sending all policy documents + SBI continuity endorsement, Care officials from official u/careinsurance.com IDs replied:

• and acknowledged “4 years seniority from 2022.”

Now my understanding is:

• existing ₹5L should get continuity from 2022 for PED + specific illness waiting periods,
• additional ₹5L should get fresh waiting periods.

Does this sound correct as per standard portability rules?

Also:

• how reliable are such email confirmations if future claim disputes happen?
• once policy is issued with portability accepted, can insurer later deny continuity arbitrarily?
• anything specific I should verify in proposal form / issued policy document before payment?

Would appreciate advice from people who handled portability cases, especially from group policy → retail policy.

If I buy ₹5L base SI, HDFC gives Secure Benefit and doubles it to ₹10L from Day 1.

So practically:

5L + 5L = 10L

Then why do people still buy ₹10L base plans instead of just taking ₹5L?

Is there any actual disadvantage of:

• ₹5L base + Secure Benefit vs
• straight ₹10L base policy?

Does:

• restoration,
• NCB,
• portability,
• future upgrades,
• sublimits,
• claim settlement,
• or premium increase later

behave differently based on base SI?

I already have corporate insurance from TCS, so trying to understand if ₹5L Optima Secure is enough as a starter personal policy or if ₹10L base still makes more sense long term.

I mailed sbi cc customer care for considering my card to ltf to which they replied this to me.
Does that means they waive off my cc annual charges for sure ?
It has not charged yet but will get in this month statement.
should i close the card or believe them to waive off annual fee?
