Did Zepto fix this Amazon GC loophole?

Looks like Zepto has indeed fixed the loophole as I can see a 1.5% cashback credited for the same in my current month statement. It could be that or my grocery and food spends got 1.5% which is highly unlikely. Anyways, I will be call up the customer care tomorrow and doing multiple follow-ups to indirectly understand the reason 😅

I will reply on the post's comments if I get more details for now just hold back on any GC purchases from Zepto.

Btw I was using HSBC Live+ credit card to purchase GC on Zepto.

Need Suggestions for First Credit Card (776 CIBIL, Govt Employee)

Looking for suggestions for a first unsecured credit card.

Profile:

• Government employee

• Income: ₹6–7 LPA

• CIBIL: 776

• No existing credit cards

Monthly spends:

• Online shopping: ₹5–10k

• Utility bills: ₹3–5k

• Fuel: ₹3–5k

• Dining/Food delivery: ₹2–4k

• Insurance premiums: ~₹30–35k annually

Current relationship:

• HDFC Savings Account opened in May 2026 (₹10,000 MAB).

• Around ₹50,000 in monthly account transactions while maintaining the required MAB.

• ₹1 lakh FD with HDFC.

• HDFC app showed Pixel (LTF), MoneyBack+ (paid), and Swiggy HDFC as available offers.

• A hard enquiry from HDFC was generated in June while checking card eligibility/pre-approved offers.

Previous applications:

• SBI SimplyCLICK – Rejected (January 2026)

• Amazon Pay ICICI – Rejected (January 2026), currently under the cooldown period.

Would it be better to wait another 2–3 months for the HDFC relationship to mature before applying, or apply now?

Also, what would be the best first cashback card for this profile besides HDFC? Any thoughts on why SBI SimplyCLICK and Amazon Pay ICICI may have been rejected despite a 776 CIBIL and a stable government job?

New to credit cards – Need LTF recommendations

I’m new to credit cards and currently only have the HDFC Swiggy Credit Card, which I mostly use for Swiggy, Amazon, dining, and online shopping. Since the recent changes to its cashback/MOV, I’m looking to add another card.

I’m looking for:

Preferably LTF (or fee waived with around ₹10–20k annual spends)
Good cashback on Amazon, Flipkart, dining, food delivery, etc.
Any nice perks like free movie tickets, lounge access, dining offers, OTT, or similar benefits.

What cards would you recommend for someone with my spending pattern?

I'm opening a HSBC salary account. Like to know your thoughts on the bank itself.

So I have decided to open a HSBC bank account and I would like to know your experiences with HSBC services.

I guess the main reason I am opening a HSBC account is because I have a future plan of leaving India and HSBC is a global bank so the bank by then will be comfortable because I don't know any other bank besides HSBC that's in USA and such.

That and I'm told that HSBC has good services especially with their Live+ card which is becoming a GOAT imo.

This bad boy has become the DAD of all CB cards.

I recently applied for the HSBC Live+ credit card and was pleasantly surprised to receive a limit of 5,41,000, which is my second highest limit.

Having this card has significantly boosted my cashback earning efficiency. I can now spend on Zomato Blinkit, Flipkart minutes, Amazon groceries and get 10% cashback.

Previously, I was limited to Swiggy for 10% cashback and Amazon for 5%. Now, I can use this card almost everywhere for my day-to-day expenses.

I’ve already received some cashback rewards, including a ₹750 Amazon Pay voucher through Visa Poshvine, a ₹100 Amazon Pay voucher through Times Prime and a ₹1000 cashback reward for completing a ₹20,000 transaction within 30 days.

this is absolute beast

T&C
11 complimentary international airport lounge visit per year w.e.f 1 September 2026.

2Any spends on Amazon, Flipkart & Myntra merchants continue to earn 1.5% cashback, but will be excluded from the 10% cashback category. Cashback earned on transactions w.e.f 26 July 2026 will be reflected in the August 2026 Credit Card statement.

3These benefits are subject to the terms and conditions as defined by Visa and will be honored accordingly: Visa Infinite | Visa

4Applicable on contactless fuel spends over ₹10,000 per quarter.

SBI Unnati against ₹50k FD at 18 – Good choice or should I consider something else?

I'm 18 and looking to build my CIBIL score with my first credit card.

I initially shortlisted ICICI and SBI. I visited an ICICI branch, but they told me I'd need to maintain a ₹15,000 minimum average balance in addition to creating the FD, which made it a deal-breaker for me.

I already have an SBI savings account, so I'm now planning to create a ₹50,000 FD and apply for the SBI Unnati credit card. (90%limit offered)

My main priorities are:

- Building a good credit history

- Getting access to SBI instant discount offers during online sales

- Occasional EMI purchases

Before I go ahead, I'd like to hear from people who actually use SBI Unnati.

- How has your experience been?

- Are SBI instant discount offers generally applicable on Unnati?

- Any hidden drawbacks or things I should know before creating the FD?

- If you were starting from scratch today, would you still choose SBI Unnati?

Thanks in advance!

IndusInd won't let me apply online because of old mobile number. Any fix?

I had an IndusInd savings account 2 years ago, which is now closed.

I'm trying to apply for their Tiger credit card online, but their system still has my old mobile number linked to my customer profile. Since my Aadhaar is now linked to a different number, the PAN + mobile verification fails and I can't proceed.

Customer support has been useless. They keep replying that my savings account is closed or asking me to visit a branch. Now they're telling me to apply for the card at the branch, but I specifically want to apply online because I'm eligible for CashKaro cashback.

Has anyone faced this? Is there any way to get the old mobile number updated/delinked or force the application through online?

CRED has stopped accepting debit card for co payments, suggestion for other platform?

I was using my SBI debit card to make payments on cred. Now they have removed the option to pay using debit card.
We can earn RP in SBI debit card for payments.
I was also using SBI unipay portal but that is very unreliable my amount was stuck 3 times and it takes 2-3 weeks for the refund to be credited back.
Any other platform which is reliable and accepts debit card for cc payments?

Card to Card request

Hi Everyone,

I was planning to get a core HDFC credit card via card to card. I have an Axis Credit card with a decent limit (1.76L) which I feel is eligible for the same. When I visited a nearby branch, the guy at the desk stated that the HDFC credit card I am getting will only have a limit of max 30% of the submitted card. He suggested that I open a new account so that the KYC for my credit card can be avoided by.the KYC of bank account and also suggested that the payments would be better with the HDFC Banking App. I am confused 🤔

Age : 25

Monthly Salary: 69k(+20k part time)

Cibil : 780

N.B. -

I have an EMI of around 34k every month, which is the reason for me to apply via this mechanism. I am planning to get this credit card so that I can enter the HDFC card ecosystem in order to be eligible for cards like INFINIA in the long run

SBI Credit Card Settlement

My friend has an SBI SimplySAVE credit card with an 85K limit. Due to financial issues, he has been paying only the minimum due for the last 4 months. Now he’s unable to continue, and with interest + charges, the outstanding has crossed 1lac.

He visited SBI’s Local Head Office in Kolkata asking for a settlement. They told him to wait for 3 months of default so the account can move to the settlement department, but interest will keep adding, and they said the reduction may only be around 20%.

The problem is recovery agents are now calling him 10 times a day, and also calling his wife and mother, which is adding a lot of pressure.

Now he has somehow arranged 50K from a friend and wants to settle the account immediately. He is not trying to run away — he genuinely wants to repay, but can’t manage the full amount right now.

I need help from this community for below advices

  1. Is there any way to directly approach SBI for a one-time settlement before waiting 3 months?
  2. Can interest/late charges be waived if he is ready to pay 50K upfront?
  3. Should he write to the nodal officer / grievance redressal team instead of dealing with branch/recovery agents?
  4. Has anyone successfully settled an SBI credit card in a similar situation?
