Offered LIFETIME FREE regalia card from HDFC SWIGGY
**HDFC offered me a Lifetime-Free upgrade from Swiggy Card to a core HDFC card, but now the offer has disappeared. Has anyone faced this?**
On 17 Sept, I received an official HDFC email on my **Swiggy HDFC Credit Card ending 4766**, saying I was eligible for a **Lifetime-Free upgrade** to cards like **Millennia, Regalia Gold and Diners Club Privilege**.
I was waiting for a core-card upgrade for almost 2 years, so I was obviously happy and tried to proceed.
But when I actually opened the upgrade option, none of these cards were available. It only showed **Swiggy Orange / Swiggy BLCK**.
I contacted HDFC, shared the original offer email, but they are now saying I should **“ignore the previously attached email”** and that I’m only eligible for Swiggy Orange/BLCK.
How can HDFC send me a specific LTF upgrade offer against my existing card and then say to ignore it?
Has anyone faced something similar with HDFC? **What is the best way to get them to honour the LTF core-card upgrade that was offered?** Should I escalate further to the Grievance Officer/RBI Ombudsman?
Any advice or similar experience would be really helpful.
