I’m from Maharashtra and I need some guidance regarding pharmacy education.

I completed my 12th in Arts. After that, I took admission in an Open University for a Bachelor of Arts (BA). I completed the first year, but I did not continue the course. This year, I have started the second year again.

Now I’m interested in pursuing B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) or D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) because my long-term goal is to obtain the required qualification/registration to open and operate a medical/pharmacy shop.

My main issue is that I completed 12th Arts and did not study Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Mathematics (PCM) in 12th.

I would really appreciate it if someone from Maharashtra or someone familiar with pharmacy admissions could guide me on:

- Is there any way for an Arts student to get admission into D.Pharm or B.Pharm?

- Can I complete the required Science subjects through open schooling/NIOS or any other recognized board and then become eligible?

- Which subjects would I need to complete?

- Would completing D.Pharm be a more practical route than B.Pharm for my goal?

- What is the proper legal route to become eligible for a pharmacy/medical shop licence in Maharashtra?

- Are there any other recognized courses/routes that I should consider?

I’m looking for a legal and recognized pathway, not any shortcut.

Any advice from people who have gone through this process in Maharashtra would be really helpful.

Now comes the hard part... waiting. 😅 My expected joining is around November, but I still haven't received the offer letter or the BGV email.

Sitting at home for months didn't feel right, so I accepted an internship at a good MNC. My plan is simple—learn something new, keep myself busy, and earn a little money instead of just counting days until November.

But now my overthinking has started. 😂

Can doing this internship create any issue with my Deloitte offer?

- Can they revoke my selection because I worked as an intern before joining?

- Will I need to inform Deloitte about it?

- Will this internship have any impact during the BGV (Background Verification) process?

- Has anyone here done something similar while waiting for their Deloitte joining?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through this.
