Guys I am a boomerang for DUSI. I was interviewed for SC role and but they have offered me Consultant role since my experience is less than 6 years.

My overall experience is 5.8 and relevant exp is 5.2.

Current fixed is 16 LPA
The offered fixed is 16.25 plus 2 lakhs Joining Bonus.

Left for a product company but the culture is pretty bad and negative to sustain. A culture that believes in fear mongering.

Please help if I should take up or should I decline.

I applied for the EOX-EFA Associate / Specialist role at Deloitte USI (the JD is titled L25 Services Associate, Account and Engagement Finance Services) directly on the careers portal. On 7 Oct 2026, a recruiter emailed me about this role, EFA (Commercial) – Associate / Specialist, Hyderabad. Then on Fri 9 Oct 2026,I got an email titled "Deloitte Telephonic Interview - 10th Oct 2026" saying my profile was shortlisted for an HR screening call on Sat 10 Oct 2026 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, on my registered mobile number. I was available for the whole window, but there was still no call at 1:10 PM, so I emailed the recruiter asking whether the call will still happen today or can be rescheduled, and I haven't had a reply yet. Is it normal for Deloitte USI to schedule phone screens on a Saturday and for the call not to come in the given window? Do these slots often slip to later the same day or the next working day, and could it be because it's a weekend? If you were in this position, how did it turn out? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone here built a side project, app, website, or small business while employed at Deloitte?

I'm interested in understanding how Deloitte handles outside activities in practice, particularly projects developed in personal time that don't involve a second employer.

A few questions for anyone willing to share their experience:

- At what stage did you disclose it — initial idea, working prototype, incorporation, or monetisation?

- Which channel did you use: HR, Ethics/Compliance, your manager, or a formal declaration process?

- Was disclosure sufficient, or did you need explicit approval?

- Were any conditions imposed, particularly for projects in an industry adjacent to Deloitte's business?

- Looking back, is there anything you'd recommend doing differently?

I'm not looking for confidential policy documents or identifying details. I'd just appreciate hearing about people's experiences, ideally from Deloitte India, although experiences from other member firms could also be useful if the differences are made clear.

Hi everyone, i recently joined deloitte usi on 15th sep'26. Now i am not liking their work culture , it's very toxic and stressful for a new hire , I am not able to adjust kyself as per usi need. So i want to resign, i have recently been onboarded in a project. So my question is how much notice period i will have to serve?

Today I received my offer letter, but there was no salary discussion with HR before the offer was released. Last week, HR called me and asked me to share the offer I currently hold. My current offer is ₹14.5 LPA, which I shared with them as requested. Today, I received the offer, and the compensation mentioned is ₹13.5 LPA. I'm not sure if they missed checking my counter offer. I've also tried calling the HR, but they're not picking up. To be honest, they haven't picked up my calls earlier either.

The offer letter says I need to accept it within 3 days, otherwise the offer may be withdrawn. What should I do in this situation?

Update: There are a few corrections regarding the offer that I forgot to mention earlier. I was a bit confused and didn’t read the details properly. The offer is 13.5 LPA fixed + 0–10% variable (depending on performance and market conditions) + ₹2 lakh joining bonus + ₹2 lakh retention bonus, which will be paid after completing 1 year. Also, the offer I currently hold, fixed component is ₹13.6 LPA.

Those who joined on 21st Sept, was any money credited from Deloitte? The amount is too less, there is no payslip and since we joined after 15th, it should have come along with October’s salary. Does anyone know how that amount is calculated or who can clear up the doubts since there is no payslip

I have given the CE baseline test for deloitte USI, it has been almost 2 weeks, can someone suggest what to do ? No response on mail or anything from deloitte

There are many openings in Deloitte USI OCM (OWC) team. But just understand why there are so many openings suddenly. Because edaily there are so many resignations. The culture here has become so toxic due to few managers or Scons. All good people are leaving. Highly qualified people are stuck on same level but people who are in good terms with MD are promoted. All you need is good relations here with MD.
Work hours are so long for literally a team that is not even critical for any deployment. Deadlines are super tight with quality required.
Every time leaders get time to talk they talk about how the org is doing well, new hire number but they never talk about well being. They connect well being with increased bench. But what about people who are already in high burn project. Are you making any efforts to push deadlines with client? Are you training your scons and managers with such management qualities. No!
They have created a team which behaves like police and review your project for quality and everything. So much timepass on this quality part but nothing on physical and mental fatigue that people get due to project load.
Think 100 times before joining this org. No matter what they are paying, at the end if your mental health is not good so as your physical you will end up paying lot of money to doctor. People who are here for 3-4 years or more have back pain, migraine, for woman pcod, pcos due to stress n long hours. Nothing is fancy!
