Is pre mba work ex verified if irrelevant?

I am an mba campus hire. Had previous work ex of 9 months in marketing field. Now in consulting.

  1. Is the pre mba work ex verified if it is irrelevant, would be grateful if someone can help? The salary was not increased and work ex was considered irrelevant.

  2. Will we have to fill it in first advantage portal?

If a person who faced the same issue or relevant person can answer..

Half-day PTO counts as WFO?

At Deloitte USI, can we take a half-day PTO and still have the day counted as WFO?

Right now I don't have any project (fresher).

*Can't choose between Hyderabad and Gurgaon.*

Fresher joining Deloitte USI at around 8LPA. Got the option to pick between Hyderabad and Gurgaon and I genuinely can't decide.

Most of my college friends are in Gurgaon but Hyderabad seems like the smarter financial call and probably better for growth within USI.

Looking for real opinions on:

- Cost of living on this salary in both cities as a bachelor(Rent+Commute)

- Work culture and opportunities at each office

- General quality of life

Not looking for "both are great" answers. Please be unfiltered and what would you actually pick and why?

Sap Analyst career growth

I joined as a 2025 campus-hire Analyst(SAP Finance) with a 6 LPA base package (excluding joining bonus and other components). After the last appraisal cycle, my base salary increased to ₹6,86,400.

- What kind of salary growth can I realistically expect over the years?

- If I continue in the same organization and progress to the Consultant role, what salary range can I expect at that stage?

Always feeling overworked …

I am new to Enabling areas. For those working in enabling areas USI— is it normal to feel like there’s never a low work period and always a feeling of being over worked?

In earlier roles ,work used to have some natural cycles — after a major process or annual milestone, Project delivery, there would usually be a brief period to pause, reflect, plan, and gear up for the next phase.

In USI, my experience has felt much more continuous — almost like moving from one central process to another, often figuring things out on the go, learning quickly, and then enabling others. There’s a lot of coordination with US-led processes, and the pace feels very constant.

I’m genuinely curious — do others experience this too? Does it get easier with time, or is this just the nature/culture of working in USI enabling teams

Performance SnapShot Summary Complain against Manager

Yesterday saw my performance snapshot summary. My manager is having personal grudges with me - Even after performing good in project he gave me AGREE ON snapshot.

Where can I COMPLAIN for Manager about incorrect and biased Snapshot Ratings?? I guess I can't use ethics and integrity Links??

As he talks also with me rudely and behaves immaturely + gave me bad ratings...

Early Promotions? USI Assurance

Hi everyone, I have just completed an year in A&A and during my tenure here I have learnt a lot. Lets just say I am in one of the first engagements that has come into Deloitte and I made my way into it by perseverance hardword got nominated into things and made my way in. I think the amount of work I put in is something which has made me go this mile. As one says, fortune favours the bold. I know an year is too early to be considered a promotion and I am fine with it however I know many senior Cons and people from whom my technical skills are way past considering the advent of new technologies as well. Can I consider myself to be promoted early than others at the end of my second year? Or is it the matter of years even if I gave more skills or not. The years will define if I should be promoted or not. Is it this way in one of the biggest firms? i.e a Big 4 infact?

Open for constructive feedback and discussion. Thankyou

USI audit work pressure - Help!

Hi

I’m a senior in audit and a mother to a 2 year old. I work honestly and put in the effort. I’ve never been in the top 25 percentile performers, but I’ve consistently been in the middle 50 percent. I’ve never had any major issue or warning level feedback. The recurring feedback I get is that I miss small details sometimes, like a formula error or a date rollforward issue. None of these have ever actually impacted audit results.

On my regular client, I’ve always performed really well. These slips usually happen on adhoc clients and maybe I take those assignments too lightly without realizing it. Using this as a “consistency lapse,” my promotion to Manager got deferred.

The thing is, the promotion itself is not even what’s hurting me the most. I take negative feedback way too personally.

I recently had a manager change after working with the same manager for more than 3 years. With this new manager, the rapport just isn’t there. It feels like he projects his own delays or lack of understanding onto my document mistakes and makes them bigger than they are. I honestly can’t deal with all the office politics and drama.

The problem is I’m someone who genuinely tries to take accountability for my mistakes. But now it’s starting to consume me mentally. I’m taking these people and their opinions way too seriously.

My husband keeps trying to counsel me and make me feel better, but I’m stuck in this mindset that I’m constantly making mistakes and that I’m the only person who makes mistakes.

I don’t know how to get out of this headspace.
