Hi everyone, My official work location in Deloitte USI is Bangalore, but I currently live in Pune and would prefer to report from the Pune Deloitte office. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is it generally allowed to work/report from a different Deloitte office than the official work location, provided the project/manager is okay with it? Will there be any issue with attendance, access, or HR records if my official location is Bangalore but I report from Pune? Any insights from Deloitte USI employees would be really helpful. Thanks!

We've got a sold opportunity at Deloitte USI, but no one's available to staff it right now. My SM told us to check with the Deloitte India POC about their staff. They started sending profiles where people with less than 3 years of experience exaggerated their past work. After just 5 minutes of chatting about their projects, it was clear these were fake experiences or copied from internet.

I interviewed a Deloitte India Manager who bragged about deploying modular pipelines for a life sciences client, but couldn't explain how code deployment works. He thought raising a PR on GitHub moved the code to higher environments, with no clue about the actual code bundle or movement using actions.

To save time, I gently ended the interview after a few more questions, saying I'd get back to him, and marked him as rejected. He escalated it to my leadership, saying I asked absurd technical questions, and even called my mobile to say, "who am I to reject him for that role?" Luckily, I had already told my SM and MD about it, and they handled it.

It's understandable if someone doesn't know the deep tech stuff and needs to learn, but this was a shocker. Has anyone else dealt with this before?

I am currently based at the Hyderabad location and plan to seek approval from my manager to work from another location in my hometown for a few days. I wanted to clarify whether employees are permitted to work from locations other than their base office. Additionally, do I need to obtain separate access for the other location, or will my existing badge work there as well?

Hi everyone, I’m a final-year [B.Tech](http://B.Tech) CSE student. I was selected by Deloitte USI in September 2025, and we received Deloitte goodies in December 2025 and an LOI on April 4, 2026, but we still haven’t received the PHT. Meanwhile, students from another campus reportedly received their PHT, and our T&P Cell told us Deloitte is processing candidates in batches. Does anyone working at Deloitte USI or anyone who went through the recent campus hiring know whether this delay is normal, whether LOIs can be deferred/cancelled, or if there is any update regarding our 2026/27 campus batch?

I have an email regarding dlaunch and the reporting time in there says 8:15am. Now i live around 2 hours away from the office location so just wanted to confirm do i really need to reach there by 8:15 sharp or does the orientation thing starts late?
How exactly does it go?

I folks, if I join Deloitte USI coming October 1st . When I can expect a hike.

Hey everyone, my joining is on Monday, but unfortunately my parents won’t be able to accompany me since my dad recently fractured his hand. They’re planning to travel to my base location about a month later.

So, I wanted to check:

Airfare reimbursement: Would I still be eligible to claim reimbursement for their tickets if they travel a month after my joining? Also, what is the usual timeline for submitting and receiving the reimbursement?

Brokerage reimbursement: Initially, I’m planning to stay in a PG for around 2 months so I can get familiar with the city and decide which area I’d like to live in before taking a flat. Would brokerage expenses still be reimbursable if I take a flat within, say, 3 months of joining?

Would really appreciate it if anyone who has gone through this process could share their experience. Thanks!

Currently WFH. Got an offer from Deloitte USI requiring relocation to Bengaluru/Hyderabad with a 33% hike. After rent, commute, and other expenses, the actual savings increase would be much lower.
My current company recently went through a merger and layoffs have started.
Would you relocate for a 33% hike at Deloitte USI, or stay and wait for a better opportunity?

should one go to office twice a week when one takes a half day leave? or is once a week sufficient, as is the case with a full day leave?

You need to understand, Deloitte is not ER. I keep hearing from people I'm on burn project, I'm working 15 hours, I'm in relationship with my laptop.. Why? Specially people working in L&D, consulting. Dude you are creating training material for people and that too you are not going to deliver it. But pressure you take or show is that there is patient lying on bed with snake bite and you need to save life. You are not giving someone anti venom dose that it needs to be given this hour, this day.

1. People need to push back.
2. Say no when they ask to work on weekends.
3. Try to communicate if your deliverables are delayed. Don't get scared and burst you @$$ to complete it. You might end up in some health problem in long term. Long term as in even in month it can happen.
4. Deloitte always takes more work than expected so you also take time.
5. DON’T BE SCARED!
6. Stop treating yourself some important person that if you don't create one sop, user guide, or presentation on time then things will go south. Dude you are just a C, Sc, M in L&D role. Literally!!!! If company decides to lay off the forces you and your team will be first in radar. NO MATTER HOW YOUR PERFORMANCE IS!
7. Stop saying I have so much work, my project is on burn.

I've been using my savings account (in one of the listed banks) as the primary account for receiving my salary. I recently came across something called salary account. Has anyone opted for that? If yes, which bank and what benefits does it offer?

Basically the title, I left Deloitte in the December of 2025, but randomly received some money in my account Today from Deloitte. Any ideas on what could that payment be for?
