Those who joined on 21st Sept, was any money credited from Deloitte? The amount is too less, there is no payslip and since we joined after 15th, it should have come along with October’s salary. Does anyone know how that amount is calculated or who can clear up the doubts since there is no payslip

I am 28 and my mom has been pushing me really bad to get married. I don’t want to get married and she always emotionally blackmails on the marriage thing
She ignores all my achievements so far and is only concerned that i get married the soonest possible and then have kids. She didn’t let me go to Europe for an On-site project(i was a fresher btw and youngest in my team with around a year of experience back then and it was an amazing opportunity)
She sells the idea of marriage as ‘you can’t be alone your whole life’ that’s it, she has nothing else
To shut her up i did create ids on matrimonial website and now she is always talking about it. It’s always some bitchass relative of ours who is asking her when i am getting married and then my mother goes nuts
Yesterday she discussed this 5 times with me over a call
And today she called me at 9am to discuss things again and then at 11:30 again to show me a guy and i am really tired
My mother is making me feel like she wants to get rid of me or something like i am some liability. I am really tired of this and she doesn’t listen or understands what i want. It’s like she is forcing me to get married. I need some advice please on how to deal with the stress. I feel sad and depressed all the time.

I am posting here to get some insights on the placement part and your suggestion/advice is really appreciated. My brother is perusing mba from a tier 3 college in pune and he completed his first year in July. I am from a technical background Soni don’t have enough knowledge around mba placements that’s why i am posting here, as i would like to help him as much as i can to get placed.
I’ll give a little background here about him - he has perused bcom (hons), has around 70% throughout his acads, while perusing bcom, he appeared for CS and cleared CSEET in first attempt, post which he has a gap of \~2 yrs where he prepped for CS executive but unfortunately could not clear so he continued on the MBA journey (in finance)

He is currently appearing for placements in college and I wanted to know how can he stand his profile out, he has power bi knowledge (also perusing the Microsoft powerbi certs), he has 2 sebi certs (sorry idk their names) and he did an intership recently as a financial analyst

What should he prepare best for placements, what certs he can do? Should he learn python & sql as i heard they need it in some profiles

Outside campus placements, can he and how he should apply for off campus? Does cold mailing work for freshers? Does referrals work? Could you suggest good websites to apply for finance entry roles

I really want to help him out in the best way possible, your suggestions are valuable to me. Please let me know how can i help or guide him to make his profile better and how he can become a stronger candidate among his peers

I recently had a surgery, it’s been a month. I went to office after 2-3 weeks today and my manager casually passed a comment to me ‘it seems apki health badh gayi hai surgery ke baad se (you have put on weight after surgery)’. It was so freakin awkward… we all were standing waiting for office cabs in the basement and I was surrounded by colleagues and cab drivers.. it felt unnecessary of him asking and i kinda froze so in response i just nodded so stupidly and went to search for my cab. And now I realise it was really inappropriate of him to say so… i feel so angry!
People just casually make comments on other person’s body as if those people being commented on, are completely unaware about their own issues.

So I am overweight, no actually I am obese. I have tried losing weight multiple times
I tried gym long back, tried multiple diets, intermittent fasting, home workouts, health plan from some coaches.
I do lose some weight each time like 4 kgs or 7 kgs but whatever thing I follow, it discontinues and then my weight bounces back 🫠
I lose the motivation or i maybe i get too occupied with work so I have zero energy left for workout
I really want to get better and lose weight and I was planning to join a gym this time, probably cultfit, with a trainer to help me initially
But i am worried… I don’t want to keep standing on weighing scale daily in front of other people or the gym trainer, I am embarrassed. Plus, constantly checking weight everyday is very demotivating for me.
It’s been a while since I hit a gym and I am not aware how things go in cult gyms
Does anyone have an idea on this… like Is it a compulsion to keep checking ur weight or telling your weight to the trainer?

So I am 28,single,independent and living away from my parents
My mom has been pushing me for arranged marriage, and I am afraid … a lot. I mean there are so many things - dowry, dv, marital r*pe, abusive partner or his family, conservative in-laws not letting me continue my career and stopping me from wearing my fav clothes or in general stopping me from doing things I love.

I was speaking to her today and told her that these days a lot of women raise their opinion that it took only a few cases about men being k*led or being tortured by their partners and guys have started to get afraid of marriage …whereas women are being tortured/k*lled from ages , there are millions of cases we come across in the news and a lot of cases are not even reported, and no one raises their voice to that extent or such cases hardly go noticed. It feels like women are made to suffer

To which she replied and I quote ‘ only stupid and useless women talk about such stuff who don’t have anything to do. Women who are family oriented mostly think about their kids and want to fix their relationships.
And these things happen to only those women who have had problematic pasts or who have affairs’

I mean it is illegal and wrong on so many levels to k*ll a person, irrespective of their gender!!
I was so furious bro, she did the same thing when i expressed my fears related to marriage like when I said I will continue with my work after getting married and the guy or his family can’t force me to leave job and i also confessed having fear of being cheated, I have emotional attachment issues too and she said ‘such things don’t happen these days and you are over reacting, there is no dv these days and nobody will stop you from working’ Which world she is living in mann??? She literally dismissed all my fears and told me these things do not happen anymore
Am i really over reacting or my fears are valid ?

I work as an IGA developer. My manager got us all in a call and asked us to share few use cases where AI can be used in different IGA scenarios
It sounds ridiculous because firstly he asking the entire team to share 2 unique use-cases, then he has told us that those will be implemented by us
It’s like “give me AI ideas which you will implement so I can fire you later because now AI does your job”
And no matter how much I am ridiculed, I don’t have any ideas to share, it would be really helpful if you guys can share something

I have been noticing this from past 2 weeks at least ki rampur tiraha pe traffic police haath se rok rok ke traffic control kr rhi hai despite the active traffic lights and no body is following it???? Jab traffic light chalu hai toh police kyu hai ?1-2 din samajh aata hai ki koi neta VIP aaya ho toh uske chakkar m ye sab kar rhe but this has been happening from too long
Aur ab waha police nahi bhi khadi hoti toh bhi koi traffic light nahi dekhta 😭 it’s annoying
Jaha se dekho waha se vehicles aa rhe hote hai and unnecessary jam lagta hai waha

I have cleared my technical interviews and got the PHT mail yesterday, I have a doubt regarding the self declaration form. My previous employer added wrong ifsc code on UAN due to which the bank kyc failed with the reason ‘ifsc mismatch’. The pan, Aadhaar and bank details are present though and nomination is also present
Pan is linked with Aadhaar
Is it okay to submit the self declaration form with a screenshot like this, where it shows ‘online verification failed’ next to my bank acc number?

I have dropped an email to HR informing the same and have also applied for new kyc request.. 🙃it’s just that since it is government portal I am really unsure how long will the verification take
