I'm a female BCA fresher(2026) in Pune and honestly feeling pretty lost. I have some web development knowledge, SQL basics, projects, and previous experience in a support/functional role, but I still feel underqualified for most technical IT jobs.

I recently got an interview for an ERP Implementation & Support role. It sounds more technical than a BPO/call-centre job, but I'm worried about getting stuck in support again and having limited growth.

At the same time, I can't afford to go back home and spend months preparing for developer/technical roles without earning.

I mainly want a respectable technical career, decent pay and long-term growth. I don't know yet whether development, QA, ERP, support, etc. is the right path.

What would you do in my situation — take a decent IT role now and upskill alongside it, or wait and prepare for a more technical role? Would really appreciate advice from people who've been through something similar.

I run my family's catering business in Pune — we started in 2003, mostly weddings and large events, with a team of about 40 (chefs, waiters, managers). I've been working in kitchens in London and finishing a master's in culinary management; I'm back in Pune from September and going hard at the 2026–27 wedding season.

Hi everyone, I’m a college student staying in a hostel in Ambegaon BK, Pune. I’m currently facing financial difficulties and looking for a job to help pay for my education and daily expenses.

I have college during the day, so I’m specifically looking for a night-shift watchman/security guard job. I can work regular night shifts and I’m open to societies, buildings, offices, warehouses, hostels, etc.

I’ve tried doing delivery work as well, but it’s not really working out financially. For example, I recently worked around 7 hours on Zomato and earned ₹600, but ₹280 went towards vehicle rent and around ₹300 went towards petrol. I was left with only ₹20 after 7 hours of work.

That’s why I’m looking for a more stable night-shift job where I can actually save some money towards my education.

I rely on public transport, so I’m mainly looking for places that are easily accessible from Ambegaon BK. Katraj, Narhe, Dhayari, Sinhagad Road and nearby areas would be ideal, but I’m open to other locations if the commute is manageable.

I don’t have previous security experience, but I’m responsible, punctual and willing to learn.

I’m a fresher currently looking for my first opportunity in Data Analytics in Pune, and honestly, the job search has been quite challenging.

I’ve been preparing myself with SQL, Python, Pandas, NumPy, Excel, Power BI, data visualization and basic statistics. I’ve also worked on hands-on projects and built my portfolio with GitHub and LinkedIn.

I’m applying for roles like Data Analyst, Junior Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst and Business Analyst, but getting that first interview is still difficult.

For people who have already started their careers in Data Analytics, especially in Pune/India:

- What helped you crack your first job?

- Is my current skill set enough for a fresher?

- Should I focus more on SQL, Power BI and Excel rather than learning more tools?
