Just wanted to share this here. I finally got my first unsecured card, the Swiggy HDFC one

A little backstory: I started off by taking a couple of small loans ranging from 2k up to 15k just to build my history. Then I got the Kotak Dream 811 secured CC.

After using that for a while, I saw this pre-approved offer on Swiggy and went for it. I'm 21 right now, so based on my current expenses, this card is more than enough. I’m planning to just lay low and wait at least 6 months before applying for any other card.

My score is hovering around 770+ right now. I basically just use my CC like a debit card—I only swipe if I already have that exact amount sitting in my bank account. I never treat it like a loan, so I'm always able to pay it off on time.

u/Anonymouswrites4 and I planned to catch a morning Show of Mortal Kombat 2—specifically to avoid driving around in the brutal afternoon heat. Well, things didn’t exactly go as planned because I ended up running almost an hour late! 🤦‍♀️

Luckily, he was incredibly patient and chill about it. He waited for about 20 minutes before I finally just sent him the tickets so he could go inside and not miss the whole thing.

After the movie, we headed over to Irani Cafe for some breakfast. The vibes were great, the food was awesome, and we had some really good conversations. In fact, the talks were so good that we completely lost track of time.

The irony? By the time we finally left, we had to drive back home in the exact sweltering heat we booked a morning show to avoid. 😂
