First time buying a moka pot — Bialetti vs InstaCuppa vs AGARO? Also need coffee recommendations

I'm planning to buy my first moka pot and I've somehow managed to become more confused the more I read 😂

I'm currently looking at these three:

Bialetti Moka Express 3-cup — ₹2,939
InstaCuppa 300ml — around ₹?
AGARO Classic 240ml — ₹757

I'm going to be brewing mostly for myself, so I'm particularly unsure about the size. The Bialetti is only 130ml whereas the other two are 240–300ml.

I've read a lot of conflicting opinions about whether Bialetti is actually worth paying 3–4x more for. Some people say the coffee is basically the same and you should just buy AGARO and spend the difference on good coffee/a grinder, while others say Bialetti has much better build quality and will last much longer.

For people who have actually used these, what would you recommend?

Is the Bialetti genuinely worth ₹2,939 for a first moka pot?

Is AGARO actually good enough or am I better off spending more?

Is 240ml/300ml unnecessarily large for one person?

Any issues with the AGARO/InstaCuppa leaking, gasket, valve, etc.?

If you were starting from scratch today, which one would you buy?

Also, what coffee should I buy as a complete beginner? I don't have a grinder yet, so ideally something I can buy pre-ground specifically for moka pot.

I'm completely new to brewing coffee, so I'd appreciate recommendations on roast level + grind size too.

I've read so many Reddit threads at this point that I somehow know less than when I started 😭

Slice Credit Card UPI payment successful, merchant never received it. Bill generated. What should I do?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here has faced something similar and can share their experience.

On 20th July at around 10 PM, I made a payment of ₹1,838 to Urban Company using Google Pay with my saved Slice RuPay Credit Card (UPI).

Google Pay shows the transaction as Successful, but Urban Company never received the payment. Since I needed the service, I had to make the payment again directly to complete my booking.

Here's the timeline:

20 July: Payment of ₹1,838 made via Google Pay using my Slice RuPay Credit Card.

Google Pay shows the transaction as Successful.

Urban Company confirmed they never received the payment.

I paid again separately to complete the booking.

Slice asked me to wait 7 working days for an automatic reversal.

No reversal happened, and the amount was included in my generated credit card bill.

28 July: I raised a chargeback with Slice.

Slice has now informed me that the chargeback investigation may take 35–40 days to resolve.

My concern is that my credit card bill has already been generated and includes this disputed ₹1,838.

I have a few questions:

Has anyone here gone through a similar issue with Slice, Google Pay, or any other credit card?
Did the chargeback get resolved in your favor, and how long did it actually take?
If I pay my full credit card bill now, what happens when the chargeback is approved later? Will the refunded amount be credited back to my card account automatically?
Is there anything else I should do while waiting for the chargeback to be processed?

Any advice or personal experiences would really help. Thanks!
