I am completely new to brewing fresh coffee. I only ever drink instant coffee. After watching a few videos online, I’m a little interested in brewing fresh coffee. How do i start? So far, I’ve read that aeropress is a good place to start. I mostly drink black coffee, and sometimes with milk also. What coffee should i buy? Do i really need to invest in a grinder, scale and a kettle rn?
I like nescafe gold blend the best. Trying something new. Please leave your opinion below. Thanks.
There's something oddly satisfying about brewing coffee before sunrise. Just a moka pot, a blue flame, and a quiet kitchen. Sometimes the ritual is the best part.
Which opt wud be better if I want to drink black coffee mostly and sometimes cold coffee Or suggest some other opt in the same price range becoz iam not willing to buy davidoff
Helppp
I just want a good black coffee and I find this any suggestions?
What setting should be used for DRIP COFFEE MAKER ? Suggestions are welcomed :)❤️
Has anyone bought a burr grinder and has any recommendations?
I have a delonghi dedica duo. I want to get a grinder but don’t know where to start / which one to buy. My top picks:
Hi everyone!
My boyfriend currently uses and absolutely loves his moka pot, and I'd love to gift him a travel-friendly coffee brewer for an upcoming trip.
I'm looking for something that's compact, easy to pack, easy to clean, and makes a genuinely great cup of coffee. Ideally, it should complement his moka pot rather than replace it.
I've looked at options like the AeroPress Go and Wacaco Picopresso, but I'd love recommendations from people who have actually used them. If you already own a moka pot, what travel brewer would you be excited to receive as a gift, and why?
Budget isn't a major constraint, I'm more interested in getting something that's well-made, fun to use, and likely to become a favorite for future trips as well.
Thanks!
EDIT -
( Update- De'Longhi Magnifica Start because it’s under my budget + the parts and everything are available well with great service reviews in India )
I’ve been French press guy for a while now ( 3 years ). Wanting to get a coffee machine with an automatic bean grinder, at around a budget of 50k can go a lil higher for quality.
More of a birthday gift to myself
My only concern is that it should have a good after sales servicing and other, so just in care I get in some issues with it, there won’t be much hassle
When I started using a French press, I read that 60-70 gms / litre dosage is good for a proper extraction given the right kind of grind. Dark roasts perhaps 60 grams a litre could work abs medium roasts, about 70 or a little more grams a litre. Did this. Worked. Until…
Went to Third wave and chose Bababudangiri which is a light roast with tropical fruits as descriptor. The barista used 100 gms a litre and I was shocked. I asked and she said that is the standard. I liked the coffee. Wasn’t fruity much.
Yesterday I asked for their Vienna roast. Again 100 gms a litre. Thought it would be too much but I quite liked it although she had managed to make it lukewarm warm or perhaps 70c.
Thoughts?
been trying to nail a ready to drink coffee recipe for weeks now real arabica, real milk, 15g protein, zero added sugar, none of that chalky protein shake ka taste. finally made 4 batches this weekend (cold brew, vanilla hazelnut, tiramisu) and poured them into shot glasses with random letter labels so neither of us knew which was which made my flatmate do a proper blind test with me, no cheating no peeking, purely taste and vibes. felt like some low budget cooking show fr. best part we both picked the same glass as favourite without knowing it was the same batch just need more mouths than just ours to confirm we're not delulu about which one's actually good
If you're planning to upgrade from your Q Air, or have one lying around… I'd love to buy it!
Drop details & pics in my DM.
Grabbed the bags from their shop so no shipping charges
Sadly they don't mention the roast date but acc to shop it came a week ago and mfd is June 2026
I bought Barbara Estate and Peaberry coffee from Toffee Coffee Roasters. I am not too kicked about them. Barbara estate prepared in a French press at 70 gm a litre was tasting like cardboard. Peaberry same dosage a bit better but was quite bitter, like a robusta. Thoughts? I quite like their Bababudangiri.
Got a splash of yellow on my blue Bialetti Rainbow!
Please help me. I use pitambari to clean it and remove the oxidisation. But there are coffee stains within which don't seem to go away. What can I use to clean the inside?
