Cat peeing red (long term issue)
Hello everyone im(25 f) looking for advice for my oldest cat Loki (5 f) the big one in the picture. She has had redness in her urine for a good while now. She is a very nervous cat and has been since before the issue started happening. It all started a couple years ago when she was vomiting blood. I took her to the vet they said she swallowed some cloth material and that it should pass. They gave her medicine to soothe her stomach as well as prescription food for anxiety. She stopped vomiting blood after taking the medication and food. After a while I was unable to afford the prescription food and noticed before stopping the prescription food that she was peeing red. It is hard to know if the cause was from stopping the food or not. She cuddles and hangs out normally the only thing is she has issues using the litter box and sometimes pees on the couch. Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice? I plan on taking her to the vet as soon as I am able but this has been going on for so long and I feel terrible.
