Tracking Model Upgrades in OPR
I'm just getting into OPR and this is my first real experience with miniature agnostic gaming. I'm coming from games where proxies aren't as common, so I'm running into some new (mild) challenges that I've never thought much about before.
One is finding an easy way to track which models in a unit have which weapons/gear/upgrades. I'm curious to know if this is something others deal with, have solutions for, or if it's just something you get better at with time.
I've started messing around with rings or base stands, and then a corresponding colored dot or mark next to the weapon on the unit's card. It's helped me so far, so I think I want to keep developing it into something that is more flexible with differing base sizes.
Are there other solutions that you have come up with? Is it a non-issue with more time and experience?
