I Had an Idea For an App a Few Years Ago, and Finally Had Time to Work On It

Hi, I'm a mobile app developer in the Phoenix area. And a few years ago I had an idea for an app while driving to San Diego with friends and family. I though that it would be cool if we had an app that we could use on our drive to get directions and share out locations with each other. There are plenty of apps that do this, but I thought that one day when I had time then I would work on it.

I had the idea maybe 3 or 4 years ago, but just started working on it Feb 2025. There is an Android version, and iOS(which is not ready for testing). The Android version is ready for Alpha Testing. And if I could find around 25 people to use the app and give input about any features that are missing, if it is hard to use, to help shape this into something that may grow in the future.

I would like users who are in the Phoenix area, since I live here, and having users from the area will help feedback and scaling the app some time in the future. Feedback will be great even if you decide to use it once, or just a few times for small trips.

Here are some areas where I like to get some user input:

  • onboarding feedback
  • bugs/crashes
  • confusing UI flows
  • notification reliability
  • overall usability
