So hear me out. The final task was designed for 4 couples
Even if everyone saved them with split coins then there would be 5 couples left and the decision would go to Gullu, Kaira, Tayne, and Sandy. We all know who they would vote out again.
The whole split coin thing was only done so that they could spend split coins of the 4 semifinalists to make it balanced for the bidding thing that's happening before the finale.
