Updatee on mochii

Hellooo po, first of all I would like to thank you po sa mgaa nagdonate po for mochi, it's such a big help for us po 🥹❤️since andami na pong gamot na iniinom ni mochi. I went to the petmed to buy immuno care which costs 600 php. Then, i went to a supermarket to buy liver (1kg) 234 php, lysol disinfectant for 89 php and i also bought vitamins and vegetables for mochi to eat. Mochi's illness is getting worse, he's been having several seizure for an hour even though he drinks levetiracetam (antiepileptic) I still wanna hope that he'll survive.

(the picture i took right now when he had a seizure). We also went to the vet earlier to get his iv drops fix since it had blood and isn't dripping.

(The other stuff that i bought in save more was bought with my mom's money)

(Story on how mochi got his distemper)

He got neurtured on a spay mission on our barangay on apr 7. We noticed that they use 1 syringe for 3 dogs which i thought was concerning but i still went with it because my senior dog was also neurtured by them. After his surgery, he was laid with several other dogs on the ground. After a week or so, we noticed that he have a lot of pimple like bump on his inner thigh so we thought it was just an irritation from shaving his inner thigh. Then last week when he got a fever, we took him to the vet and got his antibiotics shot, the vet noticed the bump and suspected that he has a blood parasite but since we don't have money it took us a few days to get him tested. He was positive in canine ehrlichiosis(dengue on dogs), blood parasitic, and canine distemper.

If you're planning on getting your fur baby neurtured on a spay mission, you should rethink about it or check if the place that they'll spay is sanitized/sterile. (I'm not generalizing that all spay missions are like mine, I'm just sharing what I experienced)

Iv infusion not dripping

Hello everyone, i have a male dog (mochi) 1 yr old. The vet gave him IV infusion earlier and when i was eating downstairs, mochi suddenly had a seizure so i wasn't able to monitor him. The spike in got removed from the bag 'cause of his seizure. I putted it right away but it doesn't drip anymore. It's currently 12:20 am here so I can't ask my vet about it. What should i do? Also there's blood in the tube near his hand.

Please help me raise funds for mochi's illness

Hey everyone, I really need some help for my 1.5-year-old fur baby, Mochi. About two weeks ago, he started sleeping all the time and just seemed super weak, but since the heat index here in the Philippines has been so crazy high, we honestly thought he was just exhausted from the weather. But after a week of him not getting any better, we finally rushed him to the vet. Money was really tight, so we couldn't afford a CBC, blood chem, or a blood parasite test right away, and the vet just gave him antibiotic injections which cost us ₱1,200.

Then, on Wednesday morning when he suddenly started having frequent, short seizures. We got so anxious and desperate that we had to borrow money from my tito just to get him back to the clinic. The vet finally did the CBC and blood parasite tests, and Mochi is positive for canine ehrlichiosis and blood parasites. The whole visit and the initial meds cost us ₱4,160. It's been an absolute nightmare because his seizures got even worse—he had 5 episodes in just one day—so we called the vet again and had to buy levetiracetam for another ₱650. We're already ₱6,010 in debt, he did his Blood chem today and fluid therapy + meds for ₱2,870 and it showed that he has no illness but he has a virus called canine distemper, although it's not curable i want to believe in mochi but we're in a very tight situation because of the debt and where we're going to get money for his current prescription.

I am reaching out to see if anyone might be able to help support mochi's next vet appointment, medical tests, or prescriptions. Any amount makes a hugee difference for us right now. Thank you all so much for reading and keeping mochi in your prayers.❤️
