Brianna in the Finale
Over the weekend, I've been trying to puzzle why the finale didn't feel entirely satisfactory to me. And I think it lies in the lack of closure for Brianna. I adore Brianna and haven't always but looking back a lot of episodes focused just on her are some of my favorites. The decision to keep her away from the battle, the battle in which her father is prophesized to die, is baffling to me.
I understand that she has three young kids at home but her parents need her. She's also damn good with a gun. Can you imagine what it would have meant if it was Brianna that saved Jamie in the initial fake out scene rather than one of the Beardsleys? I'm generally not one to ask what could have been after something is complete but this really bothers me. Anyone else feel this way?
