Another delightful 60%

Gotta say I waited for this one. Missed the R1, wanted a R2 real bad. And I'm not disappointed.

The slight angles of the board magnifies it, especially that cherry lip.

I'm astonished.

(Yes the last pic is blurry, but reminded me old pics, and I kinda like it)

Heavily inspired by the studio who doesn't know the number 3, this board is a pleasure to run daily. The integrated wrist rest is pretty uncomon, and it gives a certain charm to the board.

I had the chance to try the Lumen TKL, still in GB for two days.

I have been more than surprised by : its potential seems limitless. Clacky, louder or classic, it seems to be able to do anything. The thick inner brass weight will provide a deep sound to the board and limit the resonance.

Premium feeling, pleasant build experience. Don't sleep on it, people. It's better than you can expect.

Schema M60 - Mounted with Keygeek Explosion & GMK Mictlan Renaissan + Centinela Extension

The board is pleasing to build, pretty straitghforward : unscrew, put gasket, screw back. You can have a lot of fun with this board : clacky, classic, tactiles... it can welcome everything with ease. Would say a clacky build is more "interesting" to me, a MX Black adept - Keygeek Explosions were a really good surprise !

Gotta say this board could be one of my favourite 60% to swap from time to time with another to enjoy my games. It's light and easy to move on the desk, thanks to its design. Can't wait for my own unit.

Big plus : it's compatible with any third-party 60% PCB ! Tried a Khor on it, fits perfectly ! However, concerning this one, please remind you'll need a EZMate cable instead of a full JST one.

Don't hesitate, the gb still runs !

I had the pleasure and the opportunity to discover the Ophanim, currently available as a group buy from DeltaKeyCo for a few days.

What can I say? Many will surely say it's a 65% waste of time, boring, looks like a rectangle, don't bother me. I would be less categorical.

The Ophanim is a very interesting keyboard in many aspects; it offers a welcomed versatility and compatibility for a mid- to high-end keyboard (for hobbyists, I mean); its major strength comes from its PCB, which offers very large compatibility with support for both ISO and ANSI simultaneously; amazing. Which shows that whenever you want, you can.

I was able to run various tests with the equipment provided by STR (thanks to the whole DeltaKeyCo team for their trust ), and you'll find the results in a video, along with my simple, unpretentious annotations: it's just "I like it" or "I don't like it," but with more words.

Furthermore, the keyboard is pretty light (1.2 kg unbuildt), so if you're the kind of person to swap keyboards around on your desk, that's a plus (yes, I'm that kind of person). The raw aluminum finish has beautiful machining marks, and the keyboard shines brilliantly, allowing for all sorts of customization with keycaps and deskmats (you'll find a small selection that I hope you'll like). The cherry on top for me: the machining marks on the "Ophanim" logo - I absolutely love that.

In short: the group buy runs until July 10th. Treat yourself; a good 65% off in the collection is, for me, a must-have.

First plateless experience and woah, it's something ; using MX Browns like this is a whole new world ! A very pleasant discovery.

The board is gorgeous; the level of details and finishing is on another level, for sure. R2 delivering soon, whenever you can get R1 or R2, whatever color, just get one. It's this good.

A keyboard I had the chance to try during a meet-up, and I just wanted one immediately.

The copper bottom makes it a heavy one, but it looks really elegant. And it's not even its final form - planning to send it for patina or make it a shiny mirror copper bottom, still not sure.

Plus, the Type-R make it sound exquisite.
