For aesthetics at least, but GMK CYL sounds the best. Boards are Tofu60 3.0 with Susuwatari (HMX Hydra), Neo Ergo with WoB (Huano Sakura), and Agar Mini with Skyriter (HMX Moonlights)

My very first soldering project and 40% build. I waited about two to three months for this build because I had to wait for the PCB and plate from the US, and the keycaps from China. But now, after some less-than-ideal soldering and a couple of side quests during assembly, i can say: I love what I built!
Build:
PCB: Rescue Trucks by matthewdias
Plate: FR4 minivan plate from RingerKeys (PCB too). Also ty a site manager for blue yellow sticker!
Switches: Sillyworks × HMX Waverider Tactile Switch V2, light tactile
Keycaps: PBTFans Maguro with 40s kit
Case: 3D printed mfr2 from rainkeebs (seirin-blu edition)
Stabs: KBDFans Dyboox PC Screw-in Stabilizers (for 3 USD they can be whatever quality)
Neo65 Core Plus - Mont Blanc
GMK Modern Materials Stone w/ Sloth accents
These are the IBM and c64 editions.
3rd and 4th photos are how they originally look like.
Ignore the 2nd photo it looks hideous I know.
The red and blue keycaps are from my keychron V1 max though.
So far I own these 3 mechanical keyboards. I was worried i would impulsively buy a 4th one lol so I said let’s just play with the keycaps.
I wanted some green keycaps but couldn’t find a colour I liked.
Found this jewel in a desk drawer in one of our buildings and got it working USB-C. It's a terminal keyboard used on AT&T 5ESS telecom switches and was made in the late 80s. This little guy has rubber-dome foam & foil switches arranged in a capacitive network, think OG Topre. This made it a bit of a challenge to reverse-engineer, but through constant effort an RP2040 running through a pair of multiplexers created the new MCU and provides glorious customization. It is an absolute joy to use and has been my EDC keyboard for a few weeks now. It gets lots of compliments and curiosity and that's how great our hobby is... Thanks for looking!

Have had this setup as my daily driver for about 9 months now, having swapped over to ergo from a Keychron K2.
I was given 2 of these old mechanical ergonomic keyboards, and with 2 adapters (5 pin DIN to PS2 & PS2 to USB) I've given them a second life again
wanted sum else than aluminum or plastic and got wood
i was kinda tired of choosing from an aluminum or plastic board and my conclusion came to a wood board, specifically the womier wd75.
very fun typing experience. gaming is pretty solid too. wanted sum "nature" vibed and this keycap set worked perfectly for that. also HUGE fan of the wingtree yunies, great tactiles switches!
This has been my keyboard for a year and a half, i really like it but after trying i'm not a big fan of aluminum based Keyboards, i don't really like the extra weight.
I was thinking of changing it but it's really hard to find ISO keyboards that are white or beige.
And i think that with a non metallic color would look better. I was even thinking on 3D printing a case.
Incredible Build Quality and Attention to Detail
This board genuinely impressed me with its incredible build quality and attention to detail.
It’s a top-mount design without a single gasket, yet once fully built, there’s absolutely no unwanted noise, rattle, or resonance anywhere. Everything fits together so precisely and feels incredibly solid. The overall build quality is easily one of the most impressive aspects of this board.
I paired it with GMK BKRE, and I think the combination turned out great. The case is technically gray, but it has a subtle greenish tint depending on the lighting, which gives it a very different character compared to a typical gray finish. It’s one of those colors that looks even better in person.
From the machining and small details to the final assembly, I enjoyed every part of the build process. Definitely one of the most satisfying boards I’ve built in a while.

This morning's distraction from work...
I'm a real fan of the Tofu v3 line — I also have a Tofu60 v3 (CF plate, HMX Retro J switches) and a TofuTKL v3 (FR4 plate, HMX Black Cat switches), and they all sound terrific. And I personally like the simple design despite the plain square box/wedge design (and sharp, pointy corners). And the design language still matches my Tofu60 2.0 HHKB.
I've always loved how the Atari 800 looks. The industrial design, the color scheme, even the old ads. So I built a handwired keyboard that replicates its layout, wired to work with an emulator.
I wanted the keycaps to match the original legends exactly, not just the layout, but I didn't want to use stickers or 3D-print them. Therefore, I designed the legends and reached out to Yuzu with the idea. They loved it and made me a free custom set.
Specs
• Controller: RP2040 Pro Micro
• Switches: Gateron Pro Milky Red
• Case: 3D printed case
• Keycaps: Сustom by Yuzu, cherry profile
Didn't want to dump a wall of links here, so full build log, wiring, the keycap design process, repo, and case files are all on my site.
Keychron Q1 max ISO UK and Q0 max with Jupiter Banana switches and Ducky Dino MDA keycaps. I tried Gateron Melodic switches but even though I gave them about a week they made me realise I liked the Bananas more so went back to them. Contemplating HMX Hydra tactile 58g for the next switches.
Bought the Ducky Dino set for a surprisingly good price - easy enough to find via your search engine of choice.
The caps are impressively thick compared with Keychron's standard OSA and KSA caps. For some reason, the UK ISO Q1 gets OSA rather than KSA caps.
I couldn't find anything in the set that looked sensible on the macro keys, so I left the originals in place. My main annoyance is the spacebar, which sounds a little hollow, but I'll try adding some foam inside it.
It seems bizarrely difficult to find UK ISO keycaps in anything other than OEM or Cherry profile without resorting to group buys or paying fairly insane prices.

Got the Wave75 and was pleasantly surprised by how generous the inclusions are.

And the real highlight – the extra foam pack (the famous 4 foams):
These are all the inclusions of the Wave 75 line up. Ember Orange and Ultra Navy have their on set of Switches.
