Incredible Build Quality and Attention to Detail
This board genuinely impressed me with its incredible build quality and attention to detail.
It’s a top-mount design without a single gasket, yet once fully built, there’s absolutely no unwanted noise, rattle, or resonance anywhere. Everything fits together so precisely and feels incredibly solid. The overall build quality is easily one of the most impressive aspects of this board.
I paired it with GMK BKRE, and I think the combination turned out great. The case is technically gray, but it has a subtle greenish tint depending on the lighting, which gives it a very different character compared to a typical gray finish. It’s one of those colors that looks even better in person.
From the machining and small details to the final assembly, I enjoyed every part of the build process. Definitely one of the most satisfying boards I’ve built in a while.

Still So Good

Built my GEONWORKS F1-8X V2 HyperBeige again after quite a while, and honestly, I’m reminded why this board is such a classic.
Even building and typing on it today, it doesn’t feel dated at all. Compared to many of the newer boards coming out now, the sound and typing feel still hold up incredibly well. There really isn’t anything about it that feels lacking.
It’s always fun coming back to an older board and realizing, “Yep, this thing is still that good.”
The F1-8X V2 has definitely aged very well. 👌

Just finished building my Bowl Oblique R2 in Meteor Grey with the Red Patina option, and I’m seriously impressed.
The finish on the case is beautiful — it has these subtle sparkly flecks throughout the grey that really come alive under the light. Paired with the Red Patina, the whole board has a ton of character without being too flashy.
One thing I didn’t expect to appreciate this much is the typing angle and overall height. The board sits fairly low, which makes it extremely comfortable to type on.
And the sound… probably my favorite part. It has this dense, clean sound that almost reminds me of tapping on marble. Hard to describe, but incredibly satisfying in person.
Definitely one of those boards that looks even better once you have it on the desk. Really happy with this one.
