Tuna? Tuna!

My very first soldering project and 40% build. I waited about two to three months for this build because I had to wait for the PCB and plate from the US, and the keycaps from China. But now, after some less-than-ideal soldering and a couple of side quests during assembly, i can say: I love what I built!

Build:

PCB: Rescue Trucks by matthewdias
Plate: FR4 minivan plate from RingerKeys (PCB too). Also ty a site manager for blue yellow sticker!
Switches: Sillyworks × HMX Waverider Tactile Switch V2, light tactile
Keycaps: PBTFans Maguro with 40s kit
Case: 3D printed mfr2 from rainkeebs (seirin-blu edition)
Stabs: KBDFans Dyboox PC Screw-in Stabilizers (for 3 USD they can be whatever quality)

Eave 65 plus

Board: SW Eave 65 plus (1.6mm PCB)

Switches: Gateron KS-8 Green - 80g clicky switches, lubed with 205g0 for stem and zip-lubed 203g0 springs

Stabs: SW Knights v4

Keycaps: GMK Serika 2 Hiragana base

It was my first experience with a switch lubing, very meditative process, but all the time i wanted to have a third hand cause with only two i needed to juggle between stem holder and brush in my dominant hand 😀

First custom build

After years of own pre-built customs (MSI GK701, HyperX Alloy TKL, and Keychron K2 HE) i made two decisions: move from pre-builts and get a numpad back.

Board: Neo98 wired, top mount with ALU plate, all foam inserted;
Switches: Gateron InkV2 black for all except F-row, Tecsee x BBN Linear for F-row;
Keycaps: PBTfans Lyla.

Feels so good :)

The reason why i inserted other switches for F-row is sad: i broke a couple of pins for switches which i have only 99 and needed to find quick extra replacements.
